Raipur, Chhattisgarh — November 2025: The AAFT University Valedictory Function 2025 at Raipur turned into an inspiring celebration of knowledge, creativity, and national pride as Dr. Prof. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, addressed the graduating students with a powerful and emotional message that resonated deeply across the auditorium.
A distinguished international media personality, educationist par excellence, and founder of Noida Film City and Marwah Studios, Dr. Marwah spoke with passion about the responsibilities of youth in building a self-reliant, creative, and progressive India. He reminded the students of their duties as responsible global citizens and emphasized the importance of becoming “Atmanirbhar” — self-reliant in thought, action, and spirit.
In his moving address, Dr. Marwah said, “Education is not just about securing a degree; it is about building strength of character, independence of mind, and compassion for society. True success comes when you empower yourself and others to grow together.” He urged the graduating class to rise above limitations, think globally, and act responsibly, carrying the essence of Indian values wherever they go.
He further elaborated, “The world today needs young people who can blend creativity with conscience, technology with empathy, and ambition with integrity. Each one of you carries the power to influence society, inspire change, and redefine the meaning of leadership.”
Encouraging the students to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship, Dr. Marwah said that self-reliance is not only an economic necessity but a moral responsibility. “When you become creators of ideas and opportunities, rather than seekers of employment, you contribute to the nation’s progress in its truest sense. Be proud torchbearers of Atmanirbhar Bharat — independent, innovative, and inclusive.”
He praised the faculty and administration of AAFT University for their relentless efforts in shaping a new generation of creative professionals through global-standard education. The Chancellor lauded the University’s international collaborations, skill-driven programs, and its emphasis on ethics, sustainability, and cultural understanding.
Dr. Marwah concluded with heartfelt blessings to the outgoing students, saying, “You are stepping into a world full of challenges and opportunities. Let your education be your strength, your creativity be your voice, and your integrity be your identity. Wherever you go, remember that you represent the dreams and values of this great nation.”
The valedictory function witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and guests. Graduates expressed gratitude to Dr. Marwah for his inspiring words and his tireless commitment to advancing education, art, and culture.
The event was part of the AAFT University Convocation 2025, which also saw the presence of H.E. Ramen Deka, Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh; Shri Tankaram Verma, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Disaster Management; Padma Shri Anuj Sharma, Hon’ble MLA; and Shri Vijay K. Goyal, Chairman, Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission.
The ceremony celebrated the achievements of more than 600 graduating students across diverse streams of Media, Cinema, Design, Journalism, Management, and Performing Arts, reaffirming AAFT University’s status as a global center of excellence in creative education.
