Sandeep Marwah Titled With ‘International Media Guru’
World Religious parliament has conferred title of recognition ‘Antarrashtriya Media Guru’ ( International media Guru) upon Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios for his illustrious services in the field of films and television for more than two decades in particular and the world at large.
The citation read out on the occasion says this parliament feels proud in felicitating people dedicated and committed to the service of humanity through ancient Indian cultural values and the cleanliness of internal and as well as external environment.
Chairman of the Presentation Committee Yudhvir K. Bhoon said that the contribution of President Marwah is unique and salient. IPBF Now With 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema
The voluntary body taking care of commissioning of audio and visual programs to the media professionals- International Public Broadcasting Forum has joined hands with 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema 2012 (IFCPC) to be held on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st January 2012.
Entries have been invited from all over the World to participate in this very interesting film festival for the fifth time. All entries either including stills and videos must be shot by a mobile phone and can be uploaded to www.fliyo.com directly for competition.
Asian Academy Of Film And Television, a premier film and TV school in India will host the event along with International Film And Television Club at Marwah studios, film city, Noida.
“We are very excited for the festival as it attracts not only young film makers but also known film makers from all over the World. The awards for 3000 US Dollars have been kept aside for the different prizes” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

IFTRC Join Hands With 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema
International Film And Television Research Centre, the premier organization indulged in the research of film and television productions has joined hands with 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema 2012 to support its activities.
“It is hard to believe that the ideas which you get from these three minutes films on mobile cinema from young film makers, they are out of this world” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival while announcing the affiliation news with IFTRC.
After four successful ventures the team of International Film And Television Club, an organization behind many festivals of the country, declared this 5th festival which is unique in its nature but now popular all over the World.
The last date of receiving the entries is 18th January and festival will take place on 20th and 21st of January 2012 at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

All Rounder Achiever’s Award For Sandeep Marwah
All Rounder Achievers Award India 2011 was bestowed upon Sandeep Marwah today at a grand function at Sri Ram Auditorium in Delhi to highlight his achievements in the field of Media. Prominent personalities from different fields were present there to add on glamour to the award function.

5th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in January 2012
The festival has been launched ,which is unique in its nature but attracts people from all over the World.
International Film and Television Club (IFTC) along with Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) have decided to go ahead with the 5th International festival of Mobile Cinema at Marwah Studios in the third week of January 2012
The purpose of this two days festival is to unleash the creative spark of the participants by using non traditional means of technology like the Cell Phone and create both motion and still imagery. The festival has slot for seminar, workshop by known film makers followed by Gala networking lunches and dinners
All the entries to be created by using a mobile phone. The entries should be original and not infringe on any copy right law. All works to be either uploaded on batchbuzz.com or the body of work can be sent on CD at the festival office at AAFT, Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The last date of registration is 18th-Jan-2012. The video length should be 3 minutes maximum.
”The film entries received from various countries will be judged by an international jury in New Delhi and the result for the 9 winner in three categories of the Cell Phone Cinema festival will be announced later” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival. AAFT Is Proud Of ’Once Upon A Time In Sahel’
Daniel Martin Arroyo (Spain), Christiano Van Zeller(Portugal) and Ismail Sarr(Senegal) of 66th batch of Asian Academy Of Film And Television produced an International Cinema ‘Once Upon A Time In Sahel’ which is also Directed by Ismail Sarr.
After passing out from the Academy, all the three students decided to meet at centre point in Spain to plan their first International venture which is now ready for release.
“I am proud of my students who are doing so well after completing their courses in different streams and putting their education and training into use in the right direction” said Sandeep Marwah Director of AAFT. “This is probably first of its kind where students from three different countries have joined hands together to produce a feature film of big stature” added Marwah.
‘Once Upon A Time In Sahel’ addresses the escalating issue of human trafficking and migration of Africans to Southern Europe via the Sahara desert and the high seas of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic informed Ismail Sarr director of the film.

The Film that will redefine Bollywood will commence its shooting at Marwah Studios and various locations of New Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida in a start to finish schedule from from 15th Dec to 15 Jan.

ASMS Is The Biggest Journalism School In India
“36 courses related to journalism, 9000 media professionals from 84 countries, 20 years in training and education, more than one lac square feet world class infrastructure and a high profiled alumni is good enough to prove the biggest and the largest journalism school of India and on this side of the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Education Group.

Rajat Arora Of AAFT Again Proved His Writing Caliber
Rajat Arora passed out of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Noida who has written the script for Vidya Balan’s latest venture ‘The Dirty Picture’ has also penned the lyrics of the songs in the film.
Rajat Arora always wanted to pursue a career as a lyrics writer. “It was very nice of Vishal-Shekhar to give me a chance to write the lyrics too. When I came to Mumbai I wanted to write lyrics,” says Arora, who has also written the script of Taxi No9 2 11(2006), Chandni Chowk To China (2009) and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai (2010).
“Because I have written the scripts so writing lyrics was a natural progression as I knew the characters, their feelings and situations so well,” he adds.

International Volunteer Day Celebrated At Marwah Studios
“Today’s Volunteers are the tomorrows Leaders” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the occasion of International Volunteer Day celebrated with great pomp and show along with the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies, Asian Business School and Asian School Of Communication in association with United Nation Information Centre.
Talking about his school and college days Marwah expressed his desire that all students should take up the volunteers work to its maximum to have life time experience in every field they are guided by the institution. Each and every participation in social and cultural activity will lead to better training and leadership qualities.
International Volunteer Day (IVD) - December 5 is an international observance designated by the United Nations since 1985. The declared aim of this activity is to thank the volunteers for their efforts and increase public awareness on their contribution to society. The day is celebrated in majority countries of the world.

The World Disability Day Celebrated At Marwah Studios
“It is our humble duty to look after all those who have not been provided the normal life by the almighty” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to organizations like ‘Praytn’ and WECARE Film festival. “Give them ample opportunity to live a normal life along with you” Marwah added while launching 9th edition of WECARE Film festival on International Disability Day at AAFT.
WECARE film festival is the only moving festival of films on disability in the World curated by Satish Kapoor and Marwah nine years back. This year the 8th festival was taken to 68 locations in the country.
We have left no stone unturned and put our best to highlight the subject of disability to sensitized the people of this country” said Satish Kapoor Director of the festival and Brotherhood, a NGO. Dr. R.K. Sharma on UNIC read the message of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

I am proud of Bhagat Singh College-Sandeep Marwah
Talking to the young generation and recently passed out students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College Sandeep Marwah said, “I am proud of my college, it has given me all that what I was looking for my development.” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was attending the second Annual General Meeting of Alumni Association at the college premises.
The meeting was attended by more than 100 ex students out of 138 students registered with the association informed the General Secretary Harinder Singh of Price Waterhouse. The president G.Gehani of PSL Limited read and presented the annual report of the organization. Others who were present there included Pankaj Rakesh of Asian School Of Communication and Dr. Ajay Jain of Juris Prudent.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) was founded in 1973 and is part of University of Delhi. It is named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh an Indian freedom fighter who believed strongly in social justice. The College is considered as one of the best colleges that provide education in the field of Commerce and Arts and has been ranked at 21 for the best commerce colleges in India in 2011 as per India Today Survey group. Dr. Gulshan Kapoor is the Principal of the college.

“It was shocking and difficult to accept the sad news of a jolly good fellow Ken Russell” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Cultural Ambassador of Wales in India on the passing of renowned British Film Director. It was not long ago when Sandeep Marwah was invited to Cardiff-Wales as a state guest by Wales Creative and Wales business where he was honored by the minister which was followed by a lavish and glamorous lunch hosted by Ken Russell in Marwah’s honour. “Our long discussions and interaction on Cinema and exchange programs have already taken place in India. Ken Russell was quite keen in visiting India once again to promote India Wales relationship” Marwah added while talking to the press. Ken Russell is best known for his Oscar winning film Women in Love (1969), The Devils (1971), The Who's Tommy (1975), and the science fiction film Altered States (1980). Classical musicians and conductors held him in high regard for his story-driven biopics of various composers, most famously Elgar, Delius, Liszt, Mahler and Tchaikovsky
Dev Anand Is Still With Us-Sandeep Marwah

Dev Anand has produced 35 feature films and has given 65 years of his life to entertainment industry. Migrated from Lahore to Bombay Dev Sahib had to struggle for two years for his first film project. Known for his typical styles Dev Anand was a super hero of Indian Film Industry, recipient of Dada Sahib Phalke Award, 9 times Film Fare Awards, Padam Bhushan and many others.

4th Global Film Festival Capsuled In A Daily Bulletin
Taste of pudding lies in eating it. A media school is known for what its students can produce after being trained in a classroom. It was amply proved with the launch of the first bulletin in the 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011.
This colorful media product went down the memory lane to recollect the fond memories of the 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 to give hands on comparison how this festival is maturing into a best showcase of Marwah Studios creativity in entertainment education and industry expansion. It is also presenting the highlights of the 4th GFFN 2011.
Former Election Commissioner Of India GVG Krishnamurti hailed it as an unputdownable ready-reckoner for the audience of the festival. Director Singeetham Srinivas Rao found it in tune with international film festivals, he had visited.

The Lover Of The Soil At Asian School Of Communication
On the recommendation of Dr.Janos Terenyi, Ambassador of Hungry in India and Tibor Kovacs Director of Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios has arranged a special show of popular Hungarian film ‘The Lover Of The Soil’ directed by renowned film maker Zsolt Pozsgai.
The film is produced by Zsolt Pozsgai who has also written the screenplay. The Director of Photography is Lajos Nadoorfi, Editor is Zsolt Gulyas, Costumes by Mariann Wieber, Presented by Horatio Film and cast includes Aron Oze, Eva Auksz, Gabor Koncz, Sylvia Sunyovszky, Adam Lux, Gyorgy Kezdy, Kriszta Tarsoly, Laszlo Gorog, Gabi Paczuk. The film was also an entry to International Film Festival Of India 2010 informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
Vilmos Zsolnay (1828-1900), a world famous ceramicist, the founder of modern Hungarian ceramics, and the inventor of the world renowned eosin glazed pottery and ceramics made based on a secret recipe. He lived during the era of technical and intellectual revival in Hungary and the film is also set in the second half of the 19th century. An exciting novel about his work, which was published in several editions, was written by the 20th century Hungarian woman writer, Gizella Dénes. This successful book provides the basis for the screenplay.
