Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated New Art Gallery in Town




New Delhi; The art business has picked up very well in last few years in the capital of India.  From finger tips to long list of pages of art galleries in Delhi speaks about the rise in the love for arts and especially paintings.

Recently a new art gallery Delhi Dairy Art Lounge promoted by Delhi Dairy a renowned magazine was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

 “Delhi is like a mini country with people from all states of India and nationals from all over the World, we need to have large number of places to showcase our art and culture, this is an another step in the series” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Arts.

Aarti Makkar curated the first show under the title ‘Celebration of Passion of Art’ and paintings of artists from all over India showcased their works. Gallery Director R.N.Chabra also spoke on the occasion. Asian Academy of Film And Television supported the event

We Must Learn to Appreciate Art- Sandeep Marwah




New Delhi:  A colorful presentation, a judicial mix of dance, music, poetry and visuals by Sarjana in association with Aangik was presented on the release of poetry book of Dr. Rama Singh at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts at India Gate, New Delhi.

“We must learn how to appreciate all the arts. You can bring in love, peace and unity through art and culture.  There is a beautiful coordination between all the arts. They all lead to spirituality and humanity,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while releasing the book of Dr. Rama Singh titled “ Ye Geet Hain Mere Banjare”.

Padmashree Ram Bahadur Rai President of Indira Gandhi Centre for Arts and Chitra Mudgul renowned writer were also present there. Sushma Chauhan president of the organization conducted the program.

The Hindi Centre of Uttar Pradesh has already honored Dr. Rama Singh with Sahitya Bhushan Samman. Her earlier publications include number of poetry and story books and collection of many write-ups.

Later Sandeep Marwah was also honored for his contribution to literature in India and also for starting a grand literature festival for North India under the title Global Literary Festival Noida.

ICMEI Congratulates Republic of Philippines




New Delhi: The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah has extended his greetings and felicitations to the people of the Republic of the Philippines on the occasion of their Independence Day (June 12, 2016).

ICMEI Greetings For Republic of Seychelles on National Day




New Delhi: The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah extended heartiest greetings to the H.E. Waven Winslow Williams Seychelles High Commissioners to India on the occasion of National Day of Republic of Seychelles falls on 18th June.

India and Seychelles have broad based relations that cover a host of sectors including defense, culture, trade and technical cooperation. Hinduism in the Seychelles is the second largest religion after Christianity, with more than 2.4% of the population.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India relations between India and Seychelles have been characterised by "close friendship, understanding and cooperation while Seychelles has described itself a " rock of dependability for India in the Indian Ocean region”

ICMEI Greets Iceland on Its National Day



New Delhi: The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah extended his heartiest greetings to H.E. Thorir Ibsen Ambassador of Iceland to India on the National Day of Iceland celebrated on 17th June.

Sandeep Marwah said the relations between India and Iceland had strengthened by the exchange of visits and fruitful dialogue between our two countries, most recently the visit of the Foreign Minister of Iceland to India in early-April.

“The visit of H.E. New Delhi: A renowned media person and alumnus of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Delhi University Sandeep Marwah has been invited by the SBSC authorities to join the organizing committee of Golden Jubilee Celebration of the institution this year.

Sandeep Marwah the founder of Noida Film City, president of renowned Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group is five times world Record Holder and recipient of more than 300 awards from all over the World.

Sandeep Marwah is chairing large number of International and national media and social organizations including Shaheed Bhagat Singh forum. “Sandeep’s experience and organizing capacity will help us in organizing better programs” said Harinderjit Singh President of SBSC Alumni Association.

“I am honored to be back in the council. We will have ample events and functions through out this 50th year of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. It will be a year of celebrations,” said Sandeep Marwah accepting the offer.

Camp at ASMS on World Blood Donor Day




Noida: “Voluntary, unpaid blood donations must be increased rapidly in more than half the world’s countries in order to ensure a reliable supply of safe blood for patients whose lives depend on it,” Dr. Ajay Kumar Director Mass Communication and Journalism read the statement issued by WHO at Asian School of Media Studies on World Blood Donor Day during the blood donation camp.

“This year, the theme of World Blood Donor Day is “Blood connects us all”, highlighting the common bond that all people share in their blood. The slogan, “Share life, give blood”, draws attention to the role that voluntary donation systems play in encouraging people to care for one another and promoting community cohesion” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. 

“Although we have many external differences, the same vital blood pumps through all our veins. Voluntary, unpaid blood donation is the act of giving life – the greatest gift any person can give or receive,” added Marwah.

“Voluntary blood donors come from all walks of life but they have one thing in common: they put others before themselves — people they don’t even know. “Each time they donate blood, they commit an act of selfless heroism.,” said Dr. Alok Satsangi Director Department of Cinema at ASMS. More than 100 students donated blood during the session.

Noida: First time ever International Women’s Film Forum instituted a National Award after the name of great freedom fighter, poet and a lady who initiated Asian Unity- Dr. Sarojni Naidu here at Noida Film City in a grand function. Initiated by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

A Committee of 52 working women from different strata of life from all over India were rolled in today to work on this national event including nominating awardees for the final day to be held at Vigyan Bhawan in few weeks time.

“ What a great initiative by Sandeep Marwah who has always been pioneer and innovative in his works. It my privilege and honor to be part of this great national event to launch an award after the name of great leader of our country Dr. Sarojni Naidu” said Vimla Batham MLA Noida, UP Vidhan Sabha.

“Dr Sarojni Naidu has been rated as ‘Nightingale of India’. She was the first woman to become the Governor of Indian State. She awakened the women of India, brought them out of the kitchen. She traveled from state to state, city after city and asked for the rights of the women. She re-established self esteem within the women of India. Her journey to success is a source of inspiration for every one,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

International Women’s Film Forum has been created by Sandeep Marwah to  promote women of all segments of life and give them a political, social and economical equality and stability in the World.

Artists Need More Exposure For Fame-Sandeep Marwah




New Delhi: “Every artist needs more and more exposure to get fame and being popular in the city and then in the whole country. Radio Noida has started national program to promote young enthusiastic artists, come and join us in this talent hunt” said Sandeep Marwah talking to the large audience at Lok Kala Manch in a program titled Ruhaniyat-Ek Sufi Sham to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Sai Sewak at New Delhi.

Various artists from Delhi and outside performed on the stage of their specialization to make the evening very entertaining.

Sandeep Marwah briefed the audience about International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and its activities. Marwah persuaded artists to come forward and take the full advantage of the Chamber as its purpose is to spread love, peace and unity through arts and culture.

India Bhutan Cultural Tie Ups Go Broad-ICMEI




Noida: The visit of H.E. Maj Gen. Vetsop Namgyel Ambassador of Bhutan to India to the international headquarters of ICMEI has added a lot to the strong relations of cultural tie-ups between the two countries.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry representing the Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Music, Events, Media Education, Tourism, Environment segments of the country. The M&E Industry will be touching 180 thousand crore turnover by the end of 2017. The Indian Sub Continent cannot ignore its growth leaving the immediate neighbors of the country informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

The Ambassador congratulated Sandeep Marwah for his untiring efforts in developing and promoting relations with the World through art and culture.

Master Class by Dharmesh Darshan at AAFT




Noida: Renowned filmmaker Darmesh Darshan expressed his desire to make a short film with the young talent of AAFT while talking in the master class at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.

Dharmesh Darshan has directed films like Lootre, Dharkan, Bewaffa, Mela, Aap Ki Khatir and one of the first ten largest grossers feature film Raja Hindustani. Sharing his experience of 30 years in  film business Darshan narrated  many instances from his  shooting days and his accountancies with large number of stars and technicians.

“I am amazed by the quality and quantity of film activities happening here in this campus. The positive vibes and a real filmi environment has made this film school as one of the best in the World,” said Dharmesh answering questions raised by the students.

“I am thankful to Dharmesh Ji for his valuable input to the institution and for sharing unwritten laws of the film industry in depth” said Sandeep Marwah handing over the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Sandeep Marwah Mesmerized The Audience With Poetry





An evening with various personalities from different walks of life, showcasing their lesser known talent for poetry, was recently held at the India Habitat Centre. Titled “Mera Kavi Roop” (my poetic side), the evening saw some of the best-known faces like renowned classical singer Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Kathak exponents Nalini Asthana and Shovana Narayan, Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay, tabla guru Pandit Vijay Shankar Mishra, yoga guru Prem Bhatia and radio journalist Mamta Kiran.

Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios won the hearts of the poetry lovers with his loud, clear and majestic voice. His poetry touched the hearts of the audience. The meaningful words were the outcome of pain and experience he got during his struggling days.

Poet Laxmi Shankar Bajpai in his inimitable style anchored the programme. The NGO Sakshi-Siet organized the event. “Poetry is an extremely strong medium of expression and it brings forth the beauty and sensitivity of thoughts in an unforgettable manner,” remarked Mridula Tandon, president, Sakshi-Siet.

International Women’s Film Forum Has Large Agendas




Noida: IWFF-International Women’s Film Forum has been formed to promote and encourage Women of all fields in their professional career or for the social growth of Women by the team of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

IWFF has been conducting different kind of programs which includes workshops, seminars, interactions, talks, visits, foreign presentations, festivals, symposiums meant for women on assorted subjects to bring in awareness in the society and to develop the over all personality of women in India.

A seminar has been designed this time titled ‘Women: The Achievers’ to be held at Marwah Studios on 17th June, 2016. The speakers are from all over India.

The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana on their Independence Day (May 26, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Forbes July the High Commissioner of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, the President ICMEI Sandeep Marwah has said relations between India and Guyana are based on the solid foundation of shared history and culture.

These have been further strengthened through exchanges of high level visits and people-to-people contacts. ICMEI is going to inaugurate soon the Indo Guyana Chapter in the Chamber. Sandeep Marwah Honored Jeff Burke With IFTC Membership



Sandeep Marwah honored Jeff Burke with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television during his visit to AAFT at Noida Film City. Jeff Burke is assistant dean, technology and innovation at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (UCLA TFT) 

Burke is a three-time UCLA alumnus (B.S., M.S., Electrical Engineering; M.F.A., Film, Television and Digital Media) who has produced, managed, programmed and designed experimental performances, short films, new genre art installations and new facility construction internationally for more than 15 years.

 “Burke has been a faculty member since 2001 and today, in addition to his role developing technology and innovation strategy at UCLA TFT, is co-PI and application team lead for the Named Data Networking project, a multi-campus effort supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and an international 25-member consortium to develop a future Internet architecture,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

In 2004, Burke co-founded UCLA TFT’s Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance, a collaboration with the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, which combines research, artistic production and community engagement. At REMAP, Burke’s research has been supported by the NSF and NEA, Intel, Cisco, Google, Trust for Mutual Understanding and the MacArthur Foundation, among others he received a three-year Google Focused Award on the “Future of Storytelling,” for work that will explore the intersection of storytelling and coding through research and production of original, interdisciplinary digital media works at UCLA TFT.

NOIDA: At UCLA Post Graduate students of AAFT & ASMS are awarded scholarships by demonstrating a high level of academic and personal achievement. Scholarships can provide students with additional gift aid, enabling them to reduce borrowing or out of pocket costs. Many university scholarships are designed to reward, encourage, and assist students in pursuing academic excellence and leadership roles

“Scholarships are awarded to students who meet the specific criteria established by donors, which may include a variety of factors such as student’s academic achievements, ethnicity, volunteer work and professional interests,” said Jeffery A Burke Assistant Dean of University of California Los Angles.

New Delhi: The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world's largest humanitarian organization, providing assistance without discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions.

“Founded in 1919, the IFRC comprises 190 member Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, a secretariat in Geneva and more than 60 delegations strategically located to support activities around the world. There are more societies in formation. The Red Crescent is used in place of the Red Cross in many Islamic countries,” informed Hugo Geuvens Regional PH, FA & CHC Delegate in a joint meeting with Asian Academy of Film And Television at National Head Quarters at New Delhi.

“The IFRC vision is to inspire, encourage, facilitate and promote at all times all forms of humanitarian activities by National Societies, with a view to preventing and alleviating human suffering, and thereby contributing to the maintenance and promotion of human dignity and peace in the world,” added Leon Prop Head Country Cluster, South Asia during the session.

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios assured full assistance to the Indian Red Cross Society and IFTC in the coming days. He also committed to be part of their programs. Dr. Veer Bhushan Joint Secretary at National Head Quarters extended special thanks to Marwah for his active participation.

90th AAFT festival of Short Digital Films



Noida: “Never ever heard of any film festival touching 90th Edition. My heartiest congratulations to AAFT for creating a World Record on this occasion” said Gen. K.M. Seth former Governor of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Tripura on the inauguration of 90th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Noida Film City.

“Asian Academy of Film And Television has created a World Record in Festivals, as this is only festival to touch 90th Edition, which happens four times a year, which has projected 2300 films in 23 years and provided an opportunity to 2300 directors from all over the World to showcase their debut films” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Dr Mohita Sharma of Tirupati Eye Hospital, renowned Cinematographer Adesh Sharma from the first batch of AAFT, Nirmal Vaid an Art and Culture promoter and renowned artist Beenu Gupta also spoke on the event.
