Convocation of 82nd Batch of AAFT Held at Marwah Studios


“We have achieved what we had planned few years back. AAFT is giving 360 degree education in media . Every student gets an opportunity to be part of the industry while learning at film school” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television on the convocation of students of 82nd batch.

“AAFT has created a wonderful niche for itself, the whole media world has a word of appreciation for the school” said Charu Verma an educationist from United Kingdom. “We have experienced the quality of education in last one year, we have no words to express ourselves” added Goodluck a film maker from Nigeria.

“Fine arts are no away from the media education, the belief of AAFT has made film & TV courses different from rest of the schools” expressed Dr. Jyoti Srivastava  an Odissi Dance exponent. “Never seen such a high profiled education at such a low price” said Godspower the coordinator of Government of Nigeria.

More than 60 students from the discipline of Production/direction and TV journalism, editing and sound recording, camera and lighting techniques, acting and presentation, sound recording and radio productions, graphics and animation, still photography and journalism passed out of this batch.

12th All India Excellence Award 2014 for Sandeep Marwah



New Delhi: The most prominent media figure of the country known to the World, Sandeep Marwah has created five international records and has brought many laurels to India. He has been already honored and appreciated in many countries of the World.

“Sandeep Marwah is been honored today with the 12th All India Excellence Award 2014 for being founder of fastest growing film city in the World-Noida, he has been associated with more than 4500 television programs and 100 feature films, teacher to 12000 media professionals, producer of 2000 short films, largest in the World, giving 10 international level film festivals to the country and running most successful film school of the World-AAFT” citation read by Partha Pratim Secretary General of the Indian Achievers Podium at Deputy Speaker Hall at Constitution Club, New Delhi.


Later Sandeep Marwah handed over awards to achievers in their respective fields in the presence of Satprakash Rana MLA, Rajesh Ghehlot MLA, Anil Sharma MLA, Satya Bhushan Jain Social Worker.

NFTC Board Meet at Marwah Studios


“We have to create the name of our organization to the highest level. We all are ready to serve the nation through National Federation of Tourism And transport Cooperatives of India Limited” said Ram Iqbal Sharma Chairperson of NFTC at the board meeting at Marwah Studios.

“We will be creating different segments under different leadership to work on a much larger scale to mark our presence into general public and cooperative society system” added Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of NFTC to the board members appointing heads to start different business.


 The meeting was attended by many important people. Two groups have been created to plan seminars on road safety and other on tourism.

World Meteorological Day 2014 Celebrated at Marwah Studios


World Meteorological Day is celebrated every year on 23 March to commemorate the entry into force in 1950 of the convention that created the World Meteorological Organization. The day also highlights the huge contribution that National Meteorological and Hydrological Services make to the safety and well-being of society.
“This year's World Meteorological Day theme is “Weather and climate: engaging youth." Today’s youth will benefit from the dramatic advances being made in our ability to understand and forecast the Earth’s weather and climate”  said Sandeep Marwah President of WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation also the Ambassador of IHRO-International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a meeting conducted for youth wing of Rotary International i.e. Rotract.
 “At the same time, most of them will live into the second half of this century and experience the increasing impacts of global warming. Marwah Studios encourages young people to learn more about our weather and climate system and to contribute to action on climate change” added Sandeep Marwah.

Indo American Film Productions Will Grow With Time



Indo American Chamber of commerce can be a platform to promote and develop new links between Indian and American film companies to go for joint production of cinema” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Media and Entertainment committee of IACC at the panel discussion on-“Business Proposal for Indo American Film Production” at New Delhi.

 Talking to the large audience Pranay K Verma a well known film producer and film financer  emphasi zed on the original ideas of the script which has international market  and added that Indo American Film Productions Will Grow with Time.

 Rajesh Bajaj the writer & director of feature film ‘Hari Puttar ‘and writer of National award winning film ‘Chiller Party’ emphasized on the change  of attitude and aptitude of film makers of India toward cinema.
 The panelist Amit Agarwal narrated his case study of the joint venture. Suman Bajaj Kalra another film maker explained the style of production in two countries. The program was followed by a question answer session.

 Later Atul Vyas the secretary General of Indo American Chamber of Commerce presented memento to the speakers. The event was sponsored by ACK Enterprises was also represented by Rak Kumari.

World Water Day Observed at Marwah Studios


Water and energy are closely interlinked and interdependent. Energy generation and transmission requires utilization of water resources, particularly for hydroelectric, nuclear, and thermal energy sources.
Conversely, about 8% of the global energy generation is used for pumping, treating and transporting water to various consumers. 
“In 2014, the UN is bringing its attention to the water-energy nexus, particularly addressing inequities, especially for the 'bottom billion' who live in slums and impoverished rural areas and survive without access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation, sufficient food and energy services” informed Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nation and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation at Marwah Studios Noida Film City on the occasion of World Water Day.

It also aims to facilitate the development of policies and crosscutting frameworks that bridge ministries and sectors, leading the way to energy security and sustainable water use in a green economy. Particular attention will be paid to identifying best practices that can make a water- and energy-efficient 'Green Industry' a reality.

Abdul Kalam with the idea that the chain should not break and tree plantation should become the habit of Indians” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the national meet of Plantation Ceremony at AAFT, Noida Film City
.
 “We have found the right office and the correct person in Sandeep Marwah to highlight this movement where we have already committed for plantation of one million trees in the country” added Deepak Gaur director of ‘Gift A Tree Network’ organization.

 “I can assure you if there are no trees there is going to be no life on the planet. Trees are the real suppliers of oxygen to us. Treat them like human beings you will feel more human” said Dr. K.D. Gupta Chairperson Assocham committee of Environment.

 "We are ready to offer student, faculty exchange program along with articulation and affiliation with University of Illinois especially in the field of film, television, media and fashion courses” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group welcoming Phyllis M Wise the Chancellor of University of Illinois at the panel discussion on “potential for increasing Indian Women’s enrolment at American Centre at New Delhi organized by Indo American Chamber of Commerce.
 “We are looking for more students from India to study in USA especially Women reducing the causes of non-enrolment” said Renuka Raja Rao Country Coordinator USIEF explaining the statistic available for the last fifty years.
 “We are attracting students from 100 countries of the World, University of Illinois has 42000 students on its roll and alumni bank of almost million students. We have around 1000 students from India in different courses” said Phyllis M Wise answering to the questions.

World Poetry Day Observed by Asian Academy of Arts


“Poetry reaffirms our common humanity by revealing to us that individuals, everywhere in the world, share the same questions and feelings. Poetry is the mainstay of oral tradition and, over centuries, can communicate the innermost values of diverse cultures” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts in a joint function of Asian Education Group at Marwah Studios.
In celebrating World Poetry Day, March 21, UNESCO recognizes the unique ability of poetry to capture the creative spirit of the human mind.A decision to proclaim 21st March as World Poetry Day was adopted during UNESCO’s 30th session held in Paris in 1999.
“One of the main objectives of the Day is to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and to offer endangered languages the opportunity to be heard within their communities” added Marwah also the Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.
The observance of World Poetry Day is also meant to encourage a return to the oral tradition of poetry recitals, to promote the teaching of poetry, to restore a dialogue between poetry and the other arts such as theatre, dance, music and painting, and to support small publishers and create an attractive image of poetry in the media, so that the art of poetry will no longer be considered an outdated form of art, but one which enables society as a whole to regain and assert its identity.


International Day of Happiness Celebrated at Marwah Studios


“The General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution of 12 July 2012 proclaimed 20 March the International Day of Happiness recognizing the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.. 
“The United Nations invites Member States,  international and regional organizations, as well as civil society, including non-governmental organizations and individuals, to observe the International Day of Happiness in an appropriate manner, including through education and public awareness-raising activities” added Marwah also the President of Asian Education Group.
“Happiness may have different meanings for different people, but we can all agree that it means working to end conflict, poverty and other unfortunate conditions in which so many of our fellow human beings live” Dr Shobha read the message of Secretary General of United Nation Ban Ki Moon.


IWFF Celebrated International Women’s Day

“World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that conservation provides to people” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation on 3rd March reminding it as World Wildlife Day at Marwah Studios, Noida Film city

1st March Zero Discrimination Day Observed at Marwah Studios

81st AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Impressed Everyone


“We have created an international record today by opening 81st edition of AAFT festival of short digital films-the only festival to reach that number in the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios introducing guests on the inauguration day.

This festival has given opportunity to hundreds of new directors to showcase their debut film in this festival. Some of the films out of the whole lot newly added to the collection were screened at Marwah Studios including LAG GAYE directed by Eric Wilson, KADAM EK KOSHISH by Neetu Ssharma, BHOOKH by Roshan, EHSAAS by  Milind, UGLY TRUTH by Gaurav, GOD’S VERDICT by Shantanu, KHAWAISH by Tabish.

The quality of the films have gone much hire as the students have started understanding the need of the masses and the grammar of film making. Students from 81st batch were over excited to receive appreciation from the international guest during 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014.


NFTC will look into Community’s Requirements


A high profiled meeting of members of the governing council of NFTC- National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited  was taken place under the chairmanship of Ram Iqbal Singh took place at Marwah Studios.

“We are ready to fly from here. We are now conscious enough to look into the requirements of all the cooperators under this federation through state federations related to culture, entertainment, transport and tourism” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of NFTC.

Many suggestions have started coming from different corners of the country which will be putup to the central committee for approval for final action added Marwah distributing duties to the members.
A national seminar on the “Role of Media in promoting National Tourism” has been planned by NFTC for the next month.

Seminar on Trends in Fashion during 2nd Global Festival of Journalism


Renowned fashion designer Varija Bajaj expressed her desire to promote Indian traditional dresses through her brand Varija Bajaj as most of the Indian functions still demands Indian style of dressing at a seminar during the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014 at Marwah Studios.

“No fashion is complete till you give the final touches of related makeup to yourself or for whom you are working as dress designer” added Aamir Zakir a popular makeup person of the town. Others who spoke and share their views were dress designer Sonia Jaitely and Niket and Jainee.

International Women’s film forum Honored Sanjana Kalra


Marwah Studios has created an organization under the name and banner of International Women’s film Forum to promote women in films, television and media. The other aim is to provide women a stronger and powerful position in the society.

Some of the women who have done very well in their professions and created a niche for themselves have been honored by Asian Society of Film And Television recently including Sanjana Kalra, the executive Director of International Polytechnic for Women, Delhi.


Sanjana Kalra has been in education for 25 years and has trained hundreds of students in different career oriented & professional courses. “Any art be a film, television or fashion you need to have passion to be on the top of the list. Sincere efforts and innovative ideas bring you on the charts of popularity” Marwah added who later honored the winning  teams.


Twenty different segments of designing works were presented by the students of IPW. The program was appreciated by the jury consisting of Naresh Kapuria, Sharon Lowen, Varija Bajaj, Sonia Jaitley and others.The show was choreographed by Kaushik Ghosh, presented by Sanjana Kalra and anchored by Vandana  Vadehra

Media & Entertainment Committee of IACC constituted National Setup


“It is my proud privilege to be the chairperson of the National committee of Media and Entertainment wing of Indo American Chamber of Commerce this year along with the member of the national executive council. Sandeep Marwah Special Invitee at British High Commission


“It was a great pleasure to be with the most important people of New Delhi at the residence of Acting British High Commissioner to India H.E.  Julian Evans on the occasion of celebration of National Day of Wales” said Sandeep Marwah Cultural Ambassador of Wales in India.

Sandeep Marwah was appointed as the cultural Ambassador of Wales in 2007 by then the Deputy First Minister of Wales H.E. Ian Wayen Jones during his visit to India. Later Sandeep Marwah was also invited as state guest to Cardiff by the Government of Wales.

Sandeep Marwah is also the recipient of ‘Champion Of Wales’ an honor to develop and promote relations between two states India and Wales. Marwah has been nominated as the Chairperson of Indo Wales Creative Forum by the Government of Wales.

The event was well attended by who’s who of Delhi Political, business and cultural circle including guest from Wales Tony Goddfrey of Business Development Inward Investment Welsh Government, Steve Davies of International Links European and External Affairs Division, Government of Wales.

Some of the prominent people were honored with Rajiv Gandhi Award in a huge function at Hotel Janpath at New Delhi. Sandeep Marwah also narrated the instance of formation of Noida Film City as how Rajiv Gandhi took interest in the project.


Sandeep Marwah is already the recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Award. Marwah also narrated his involvement with youth congress during Rajiv days when he was just the patron of Indian Youth Congress.

World Radio Day Celebrated with 2nd GFJN 2014


13 February was the World Radio Day — a day to celebrate radio as a medium; to improve international cooperation between broadcasters; and to encourage major networks and community radio alike to promote access to information, freedom of expression and gender equality over the airwaves.

“As radio continues to evolve in the digital age, it remains the medium that reaches the widest audience worldwide. It is essential to furthering UNESCO’s commitment to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios while releasing the poster on that day.

International Mother Language Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999.
