State Guest From India Sandeep Marwah Visited Goree Islands




Dakar: Visit to The House of Slaves and its Door of No Return at Gorée Island was the part of the program of Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, the State Guest of Government of Senegal from India.

The Maison des Esclaves is a central part of the Gorée Island UNESCO World Heritage site, named in 1978, and a major draw for foreign tourists to Senegal. Only 20 minutes by ferry from the city centre of Dakar, 200,000 visitors a year pass through the Museum here.

World leaders include the Pope John Paul II, President of the United States Bill Clinton, President South Africa Nelson Mandela have all made high profile stops. On June 27, 2013, U.S. President Barack Obama with First Lady Michelle Obama also visited "The Door of No Return.

“I am touched and feeling emotionally week by the ruthlessness hammered on the last generations here at Goree Island. I will pray that nothing like this ever prevailed in the world now” said Marwah at the conference with Eloi COLY the curator of House of Slaves and site manager, Goree.

Sandeep Marwah Invited by RTS National TV Station



Dakar: “Learning is the best way to upgrade your systems and operations in media, I believe in that and we keep on amending, altering, adding, subtracting our courses to suit to international market” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film And Television on his visit to RTS National Television Network of Senegal at Dakar.

“We are looking for a tie up with such an institution where special courses can be planned for the staff of television station” added Amadou Tidiane BARRY the director of the RTS station.

AAFT-has agreed to plan extraordinary courses for the benefit of technical and creative staff of RTS National Network in shortest period of time confirmed Marwah.

The visit was accompanied by Abhinav Bajpai, O.P.Meena, Hugues DIAZ, Prof. Fallou GUEYE, Modibo Diawara. El Hadji Malick DIOP Chief of Production Department was also present there. Later Sandeep Marwah also met the Director General of RTS Television. A short TV program was also recorded to mark respect to the state visit of Sandeep Marwah.

Cinema Theatres Are Place of Worship For Film Makers-Sandeep Marwah



“The net results of your hard work, your caliber, your long relations with cinema can only be seen in cinema theatres in any country irrespective of size of the industry” explained Sandeep Marwah during meeting with film makers, distributors and cinema owners of Dakar at Senegal.

“India’s strength is that it has 12000 theatres and ten million people watch cinema every day. We sell 5 billion tickets every year which is more than USA which is 3 billion per year” added Marwah who is also on the board of FFI-Film Federation of India.

Cinemas are to be renovated and to be provided with best of ambience and facilities to attract more audience to theatres suggested Marwah to the Minister of Culture Abdoul Aziz MBAYE when they both visited the local theatres for inspection during state visit of Sandeep Marwah at Dakar.

Sandeep Marwah was accompanied by filmmaker Oumar Sall & Modibo Diawara, Maguette DIOP Secretary General of Cine Seas, Dr. Hadja Mai NIANG, Maimouna Diop of May Art, Prof. Fallou GUEYE advisor to Prime Minister Senegal, Hugues DIAZ Director of Cinematography Ministry of Culture, O.P.Meena from Embassy of India and many other people from film and television fraternity.

Marwah Revealed Institutional Bond With Senegal During Master Class


“I am impressed by the facilities shown here in multimedia institute Sup’Info international Academy of Dakar, we are ready to join hands with them for articulation” declared Sandeep Marwah during his Master Class at the institute.

Sandeep Marwah is the President of Asian Education Group comprising of some of the best film, television and media training of the World. So far he has churned out 12000 media professionals from 94 countries of the World. He has five World Records in media to his credit.

Sandeep Marwah Presented with Diplome D’ Honneur at Senegal



“Sandeep Marwah is not only a special guest at Senegal but he is our representative of culture in India. The formation of Indo Senegal Film And Cultural Forum is the brainchild of Marwah which has suddenly brought two countries close to each other” said Abdoul Aziz MBAYE the minister of culture, Democratic Republic of Senegal in a grand function at National Grand Theatre at Dakar.

AAFT Can Be Helpful to Senegal Broadcasting Channels



“A refreshing short term course for the existing employees of the broadcasting companies of Senegal will bring better color to the programming on television” said Sandeep Marwah the President of Asian Education Group, India during his discussion with the Ministry of Communication during his state visit to Dakar.

A special refreshing courses can be planned by AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television a world renowned film and television school of India which has created five world records in media training and has trained more than 12000 media persons from 94 countries of the world.

 The Indian delegation was received by Mamadou DRAME the Director of the Cabinet, Ministry of Communication, Government of Senegal. Hugues DIAZ Director of Cinematography, Ministry of Culture, Mme Marieme Thiam NDOUR Telecommunication Engineer, filmmaker Modibo Diawara and Abhinav Bajpai were also present in the meeting.



India Can Guide Senegal in Film Business And Promotion



Dakar: “To have a stronger base for the development of film business in Senegal, it needs a professional and a world class film school with 360 degree exposure to the students in this field” suggested Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in his first meeting with the Minister of Culture, Democratic Republic of Senegal here at Dakar.

Sandeep Marwah a well known international media personality has been invited by the Government of Senegal as state guest from India to look into the needs of development and promotion of cinema and other media activities in the country.

The high profiled meeting took place in the Ministry of Culture with the Minister of Culture Abdoul Aziz MBAYE. The Ambassador of India to Senegal H.E. Partha Satpathy was the special invitee. Sandeep Marwah Represents India in Senegal



Dakar: International media person Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has reached Dakar the capital of Senegal to develop and strengthen the ties between two countries in the field of art and Culture through films, television and media when Narendra Modi has constituted his new ministers at New Delhi as the 15th Prime Minister of the country of India.

Sandeep Marwah probably the first Indian who has been nominated by the Ministry of Culture, Democratic Republic of Senegal to Chair Indo Senegal Film and Culture Association created by H.E. Abdoul Aziz MBAYE Minister of Culture, Senegal.

Sandeep Marwah will be meeting Cultural Minister, Minister for Communication, will deliver Master Class at College, will also be meeting the Indian Community and will be talking to the national press during his stay at Dakar besides tour of the city.

Marwah is representing media and entertainment industry of India and chairs more than 30 media organizations with the membership of more than a million people.

The New Man on the Block : Mohit Marwah



Meet the dashing Bollywood actor Mohit Marwah, nephew of Boney , Sanjay & Anil Kapoor ,

After graduating from The Lee Strasberg Acting School in New York & AAFT Noida Film City , he is  now all set to make his acting debut with Grazing Goat Production’s ‘Fugly’ as main lead.  The film, which is a light hearted socio-political thriller, has been directed by Kabir Sadanand and produced by Akshay Kumar & Ashwini Yardi.

Previously Mohit has acted in Karan Johar's production, Strangers in the Night a 14 minutes short film . Mohit is also the 1st cousin of Actor Sonam Kapoor & Arjun Kapoor . 

The movie  Fugly also stars Vijender Singh , Arfi Lamba , Jimmy Sherigil & Kiara Advani and is set to release on the 13th June 2014 in cinemas near you.

ICFF Promotes Dance and Music Performers



International Children’s Film Forum of Marwah Studios has planned a national music and dance competition for the young students so that the winners can be promoted to the highest level.

The second edition of program today started at Marwah Studios under the banner Rising Star and supervision and direction of Deepak Dubey who has planned series of competition in Delhi in different districts.

“God has given us enough talent to use for good purposes, let us use our energy to give our best for the promotion of art and culture which brings peace into the society” said Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the competition.


Kathak Guru Jitendera, Kathak exponent Nalini, Veteran Journalist Anuranjan Jha and Anil Pandey, Jewelry designer Shalini Arora Kochar , film & TV actress Rajshree Seem and   All India Radio producer Poonam Sareen were also present there. More than 100 students took part in the competition.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Painting Exhibition at Triveni




“Painting is the best way to express your thinking and emotions. It adds to the development of art and culture and creates an unmatchable closeness and bonding within people” said Sandeep Marwah an international media personality and President of Marwah Studios and  on the inauguration of a large painting exhibition at Shridharni Art Gallery at Triveni  Kala Sangam at New Delhi.

The exhibition was dedicated to Thomas Ganborough, the great master of Europe. 31 artists took part in this group show including Manish Pushkale, Hemraj, Vijender Sharma, Fida Khanand, Adittee Garg and Sujan Biswas.

Sumita Dass, Aarti Upadhyay and Anamika Yaduvanshi were the other guest. Kanchan Chander, Sangeeta Gupta and Kiran Soni Gupta were on the jury to select the best piece of art.

Rafique Shah, Alpana Kataria, Alka Bhrushundi, Anuradha Srin Khurana, Bani Pershad, Devi A Shrimali, Honey Gupta, Lipsa Patnaik Mohanty, Mansha Bedi, Nishi Nitya, Poonam Rana, Prabuddha Ghosh, Rajni Rekha, Richa Gupta, Rajaswi Zaveri, Sarbari Roy Choudhary, Shagun Mohindra, Shanivi Sadana, Sasmita Mishra Sahu, Shivani Mathur, Sunita Wadhawan, Bhawna and Neeta Srivastava displayed their paintings.

The show was curated by Lakshya Deorha and presented by Iqbal Krishan and Rekha Gurtu under the banner of Arts Unlimited. The show will remain open for full week.

Sandeep Marwah Will Inaugurate Hungarian Film Festival


Internationally renowned Indian Film maker and five times World Record Holder Sandeep Marwah has been invited by the Hungarian Film Festival to inaugurate the 11th edition of the festival  in North East of Hungary in  the month of September informed Edit Osko the messenger of Jamesons Cinefest Miskolc International  Film Festival flown from Hungary to invite Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah has been representing India in number of occasions at different film festival of the World. Producer of largest number of short films and trainer to 12000 film, TV and media professionals from 94 countries of the World Marwah has been requested to take master class and be on the international jury at the festival.

Jamesons CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival is dedicated to young film makers all over the World in four categories long features, short, documentary and animation. Film makers under the age of 35 can apply for the competition invited Tibor Biro the director of the festival.

NFTC Will Open Office in Indore-Sandeep Marwah


Indore: “Indore is the commercial capital of Madya Pradesh, the biggest city of MP and 14th biggest city of the country. I am pleased to see the progress of the city in last few years” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited in a press conference at Indore.

“We will soon open office of NFTC at Indore as it is center of the country and will help us in promoting the activities of the federation in much smoother ways” added Marwah who was there at Indore to inaugurate the Fashion Show organized by SDPS Women’s College.

Good Education Makes Good Career-Sandeep Marwah

It was a well prepared fashion show by the students of fashion department of SDPS Women’s college who showcased their creativity through this event in nine different segments. “It was not only difficult but complicated to finalize the awards as all were so close to best’ said Meher Casteline former Miss India.


Sandeep Marwah was especially flown from Delhi and Meher casteline from Mumbai to judge the show. Vijaya Sojatia Secretary SDPS Women’s College welcomed all the dignities. Col. P. Mazumdar Director SDPS managed the show and Hemant Kushik principal conducted the show.

Team of Feature film Revolver Rani at Marwah Studios


“Continuous efforts and deep patience can only bring in success for the people who are in  the profession of creative arts including Acting” said Piyush Mishra a vetran actor, writer, singer associated with the feature film Revolver Rani released recently.

“My association with Marwah Studios is as long as 10 years, in all these years  I have seen studios growing brick by brick in its creative works and reputation all over the World” said Rahul Mittra Producer of the film Revolver Rani who has already given hits like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and Bullet Raja.

“Gwalior has given a lot to the film and love and affection to the whole unit. We faced no problems in making of the film other than the high temperature of the city” narrated Sai Kabir the director of Revolver Rani answering questions by media students of AAFT & ASMS during interactive session.

Marwah Studios Impressed Iranian Film Makers


“We knew about Marwah Studios but it turned out to be a media universe” said Ali Fouladi the cultural counselor of Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in India. “All mediums of media are well knitted here’ he added during their visit to Noida film city.

“We are keen in producing not only documentary but also a full length feature film in association with Marwah Studios” expressed Davood Eskandari  incharge India Sahar News  covering Sandeep Marwah for his documentary for Iran television.

 Majid Ahmadi, the senior secretary at Embassy of Iran suggested the festival of Iranian films at Marwah studios in the coming months. Mostafa Pourmohammadi Correspondent Islamic Republic of Iran News Network and Seyed M Rhosseini of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting were also present there.

“We are working like ministry of entertainment, all segments of media are under this house probably we are the only media house of this kind in the World” said Sandeep Marwah thanking the delegation from Iran for trusting the setup.

61st National Film Awards at Vigyan Bhawan

World Press Freedom Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios



“World Press Freedom Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in December 1993, following the recommendation of UNESCO's General Conference. Since then, 3 May, the anniversary of the Declaration of Windhoek is celebrated worldwide as World Press Freedom Day” informed Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations.
 It is an opportunity to celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom, assess the state of press freedom throughout the world, defend the media from attacks on their independence and pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The focus this year is on three inter-related themes: the media’s importance in developmentthe safety of journalists and the rule of law and the sustainability and integrity of journalism. A seminar was held at WPDRC Headquarters at Noida with the students of Media at Asian Academy of Film And Television.



AAFT News Paper Celebrates Tenth Weeks in Campus



“Country And Politics is now ten weeks old in AAFT campus. Probably we are the only institute to have our own newspaper, radio station and television station”said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios explaining the details to the special guests.

“I am surprised to see the changes in the campus, I must congratulate you all for bringing laurels to India and performing to the world class level” blessed Muzaffar Ali a renowned film maker, painter and writer, poet and popularly known for his feature film Gaman, Umrao Jaan, Anjuman  while releasing the 10th issue of Country & Politics at Noida Film City.


“We are giving our best and doors for improvement are still open” added Vipin Gaur editor of the paper. Muzaffar Ali was accompanied by his wife Meera who also appreciated the initiative of starting newspaper in media school.

Workshop on Film Direction by Dharmesh Darshan at AAFT


“The success of the film depends on many factors, it is the duty of the director to coordinate all departments from casting to marketing so that film should do well” said Dharmesh Darshan answering to the questions of large number of film students of Asian Academy of Film And Television & Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

Dharkan, Han Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya, Bewafaa and Aap Ki Khatir are some of his other films written and directed by him.

NFTC Released Film on Traffic during Road Safety Week



NFTC in short period of time has created a wonderful niche for itself in the cooperative movement in the country under the leadership of its Managing Director Sandeep Marwah” said Shivaji Rao Patil former Member Rajya Sabha and Minister at Maharashtra Government releasing the new film on traffic at Marwah Studios, film city Noida.

National Federation of Tourism And Transport opened the week to propagate the traffic awareness in the country in association with United Nation Information Centre during Road Safety Week declared by United Nation. Large number of seminars and workshops were conducted all over India to celebrate Road Safety Week.

A film prepared by Asian Academy of Film And Television on traffic rules was the attraction of this function. A copy of the film will be distributed to all the 26 National Federations of Cooperative movement for screening suggested Sandeep Marwah.


The valedictory function of road safety week was attended by Suresh Sharma, Subhash Gupta, Anil Shukla, Chandra Kant Patil, Savitri Singh, M.S. Talwar, Amit Big B, Arti Makkar and many others.

Film Delegation from Sweden at Marwah Studios




“It was a great experience to be in Delhi with Swedish film delegation and shooting in pharganj for our film which is to be completed back in Sweden” expressed Csaba Ben Perlenberg the director of the film preparing a docudrama of Indo Swedish story.

“Oh it was too exciting to be in India, this is my first trip and I am new to Cinema also “said the lead lady of the film Niki Borgeke. “I am also visiting India for the first time. Its unbelievable what all we have seen in India” added Oscar Aldgard the hero of the film.

Chris Maris, a senior cinematographer who has worked in number of projects and has been more than happy to work in India. The delegation was accompanied by the production controller of the film Syed Kazmi ,an AAFTian settled in Sweden.

Sandeep Marwah briefed them about the activities of Marwah Studios and later honored all of them with he life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

AAFT Has Been Rated As Best Institute In India-NBC Awards



25 years in existence, 12000 media professionals, large number of celebrated faculty & alumni, five world records and world class infrastructure, Asian Academy has been rated as the best institute in the country.

Sandeep Marwah Honored as Icon of Noida by Times of India



Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group Sandeep Marwah is five times World Record Holder and has brought many laurels to India.  He is the teacher to 12000 media professionals from 94 countries.

A citation was read before handing over the prestigious ‘Times of India Award’ to Marwah by Rama Raman, Chairperson of Noida & Greater Noida at a glittering function at Hotel Radisson at Noida before the august audience.

“A remarkable performance in media and touching the unbelievable heights, Sandeep Marwah has brought Noida to World level.  He is the real ICON of Noida. I congratulate him and wish him all the best” said Rama Raman senior IAS officer of the country.

“My responsibility towards my nation has gone much higher now” said Sandeep Marwah humbly. A coffee table book prepared by Times of India, consisting of 15 Icons of Noida, was also released by the Chairman.
