7th International Conference on Cooperatives completed its three powerful and meaningful days full of events. The third day saw the large number of film lovers and cooperators from all over India and abroad in the grounds of Marwah Studios for entertainment and award function.

Millennium Award for Shivajirao Patil at 7th GFFN




7th International Conference on Cooperatives was the part of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 this time. The biggest award management could decide for cooperative movement was named as Millennium Award, and it was decided to honor Padama Bhushan Shivajirao Patil a legendry figure in cooperatives.

Shivajirao Patil has been in cooperatives from last 50 years. He has been the former minister in Maharashtra Government and has been member parliament Rajya Sabha. He has been on the board of largest number of State and National federations, cooperative Societies and the apex body National Union of Cooperatives of India.

Sandeep Marwah President 7th GFFN handed over the Millennium award to the daughter of Shivaji Rao Patil- Manya Seth as Patil had to leave for urgent work to Mumbai. A large number of cooperators were attending the function from all over India and abroad.

Ashok Tyagi Honored With Excellence In Cinema Award at 7th GFFN

Sport Has to be Part of Our Regular Life-Sandeep Marwah



“Large numbers of Indian schools do not possess sports facilities in the school, nor they have any ground to encourage the sports. Private bodies like Indo Global Foundation have to come forward to create an environment for sports and games” said Sandeep Marwah World Record Holder in Sports and President Marwah Studios at the press conference to announce Maitri Cup an inter school football tournament.

The tournament is going to stat from 1st to 3rd December at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi. Ajit M. Sharan Secretary Sports, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India will inaugurate it.

The tournament will showcase some of the best talents in the top football playing schools of Delhi region.

Sandeep Marwah was sharing dice with German Football player Albert Rampel, British football player Jimmy Carter, Benny Joseph and Raj Shekhar of Indo Global Foundation, Harsh Singh of Remix Entertainment and social worker Satya Bhushan Jain.

Seminar Titled Women In Cinema Created Heating Arguments at 7th GFFN




“We have been projecting women in cinema bigger than life as our culture has always respected women in society. Now the trends are changing and women also been shown as object or just the glamour” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios initiated the discussions for the seminar tittled Women In Cinema at 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

Malti Sahay former Director, Directorate of Film Festival of India ,  Ministry of Information And Broadcasting, Government of India gave her views followed by KInley Pendel film maker from Bhutan, Mahesh Aney Cinematographer, Ramesh Meer master of Visual effects also spoke on the subject.

Renowned actresses Bhairavi Goswami and two times National Award winner actress Neetu Chandra protected the film industry and corrected the remarks coming from the audience.

The seminar rose to wonderful heights and many new points emerged out of two hours of panel discussion and question answer session.

Uttar Kumar Honored With IFTC Membership at 7th GFFN



“After performing in more than 30 films as lead role Uttar Kumar has now shifted his base to Hindi Cinema and his film Dear V/S Bear is also the part of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014” Uttar Kumar was introduced to the huge young film audience who all knew him earlier.

Shilpi Sharma Honored With Life Membership of IFTC at 7th GFFN



International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios honored Shilpi Sharma with Life Membership of the Club. IFTC is the presenter of 9 different festivals of the country around the year.

We are pleased to receive the young lady at the festival and her keen interest in World cinema. She has already done a lot in the south of India and now starting in a big way in Mumbai. We wish her a great success” said Sandeep Marwah presenting the membership certificate.

Shilpi Sharma debuted in Telugu film Green Signal as one of the lead in 2014 produced by Maruthi Dasari. She played the lead role in Kannada movie Aakramana. It is a horror movie made both in 2D and 3D format and it is the first 3D horror movie in Kannada dubbed in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. She is now slated to debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan in No Entry Mein Entry sequel of No Entry This movie is directed by Anees Bazmee.

Chandrapal Yadav Honored at International Conference on Cooperatives

11th ASMS Festival of Short Films at 7th Global Film Festival



ASMS--Asian School of Media Studies has grown big in its size and quality. The films made by students of cinema have all those contents, which we actually want to see on the big screen. They are now part of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

“We have included films of ASMS as they speak differently and are really pieces of art,” said Dr. A.K.Srivastava Director of ASMS who introduced the 11th ASMS Festival of Short Films to the large audience at GFFN.

“I am impressed by the quality of work this time students of cinema from ASMS has presented. Its worth projecting at many other international film festivals” said Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT.

The former student of AAFT and now super star of Haryanavi Cinema Uttar Kumar inaugurated the 11th ASMS festival and said, “I congratulate all the participants and hope that all of them will soon can be seen on the big screen”.

Feature Film Dear V/S Bear Showcased at 7th GFFN




I am indebted to my institution for putting me on such a huge platform today at 7th GFFN and showcasing my feature film Dear V/S Bear an experimental film before a large and educated audience” said Uttar Kumar renowned star from Haryana and former student of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“We are proud of Uttar Kumar who has lead role in more than 35 feature films of Haryanavi language and now graduated as producer of feature films. We wish him a very bright future,” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN and AAFT.

Dear V/S Bear is a Hindi love story with lots of animation and special effects. The film has done extremely well in theatres and this time was entry to GFFN as experimental cinema.

The film was well appreciated by the students of cinema as a well tried film at a low budget scale.

Writing Workshop by Neeraj Pathak at 7th GFFN



“Today we need good writers in film industry. Subjects are getting bored and many times they are repeated again and again. New ideas, new wave, new thinking is to be inducted into the system” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN.

“We are here to induce and motivate you to write, write and write. No film can be initiated unless and until you write and put your ideas on paper” said Neeraj Pathak renowned writer- director who conducted a very powerful workshop at 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

Neerak Pathak is known for his writing work for Pardes, Mohre, Ghaath, Dil Diya Hai, Iqraar: By Chance, Apne, Gumnaam: The Mystry, Right Yan Wrong and Bhaiyya Ji Superhit etc.
