ICMEI Promotes Indo Maldives Film And Cultural Forum




Indo Maldives Cultural Forum Launched
New Delhi: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is marching towards its goal of creating 162 international committees activated for uniting the World through films, art and culture.

A new association under the name and banner of Indo Maldives Film And Cultural Forum has been created by ICMEI, proposed and inaugurated by H.E. Ahmed Mohamed High Commissioner of Maldives to India on the second day of 5th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2017.

“The formation of Indo Maldives Cultural Forum is an initiative to bring in better relations between India and Maldives. This leads to love, peace and unity between the two countries,” said H.E. Ahmed Mohamed High Commissioner of Maldives to India.

“We have already designed some of the interesting programs like student’s exchange, faculty exchange, film festivals, joint productions, film tourism to start with the country of Maldives. Many new ideas will come in the next few weeks,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios talking about Indo Maldives relations.

Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Chairperson of the forum by the High Commissioner and was presented with the memento. Later Marwah proposed H.E. Ahmed Mohamed as the patron of the organization and handed over the certificate of the patron ship.

High Commissioner Ahmed Mohamed inaugurated the exhibition of photography by the students of Asian School of Media Studies, released the poster of Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Forum and the news letter of the festival on the same day as mark of cultural exchange.

The event was attended by the senior IAS officer N. P. Singh District Magistrate of Noida, senior journalist Kumar Mohan from Mumbai, Radio Jockey from Fever FM Station, Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI, Dr. Ajay Kumar Director ASMS, Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT, Sushil Bharti Director Radio Noida, Ravindra Bawa BBC Correspondent and prominent people from the field of media and journalism.

5th Global Festival of Journalism



Noida:  5th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2017 marked its presence internationally. It is now known to all the important nations of the World. The physical and virtual participation has gone to 140 countries of the World where ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has its members.

“5th Global Festival of Journalism Noida now is an international property. The purpose of uniting the world through journalism is getting fulfilled,” said Sandeep Marwah President IJC and Global Cultural Minister.

“Indo Slovenian friendship has seen a new wave today with our involvement with 5th Global Festival of Journalism Noida, we hope we will work together in a much bigger way to develop relations with India this year,” said Josef Drofnik Ambassador of Slovenia to India.

“Journalism needs correction at many stages in India. It creates and develops perception about every aspect of life. Journalists has to do ample research to reach to the correct information before delivering the information to the masses,” said Pankaj K Singh IRS Deputy Commissioner Taxation and writer of many books.

“ From monthly film magazines to daily news papers and now hourly information on net have definitely made film journalism a very popular subject. The responsibility has also gone up many times. It has become a large source of employment too,” added Vinod Mirani renowned film journalist and critic.

Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, Vipin Gaur Secretary General of News Paper Association of India also expressed their views on journalism, its difficulties and role of associations.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored the guest with the life membership of International Journalism Centre. H.E. Josef Drofnik also inaugurated the exhibition of Graphics and Animation designed by the students of Asian School of Media And Studies.

 A daily bulletin of the activities of the festival by department of print media and a poster to mark respect to the veteran journalist Ganesh Vidyartyhi were also released on the occasion. Sushil Bharti Director Radio Noida spoke about the forum.

A poster to highlight the new web series for mstv.co.in produced by Marwah films and video production and directed by the film students of ASMS was also released.

Noida: The second day of 5th GFJN celebrated World Radio Day as marked by United Nation and dignities present on the stage released the poster of World Radio Day to mark respect to one of the oldest medium of media.

“Love, Peace and Unity is the motive of Global Festival of Journalism. This is the only event of its kind, which is by the journalists for the journalists, and of the journalists,” said Sandeep Marwah Global Cultural Minister introducing International of Journalism and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment to the large international audience.

“The formation of Indo Maldives Film And Cultural Forum at this platform is an indication of bringing the World closer through the efforts of journalism,” said H.E. Ahmed Ambassador of Maldives to India on the opening of second day of 5th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2017 at Noida Film City.

“India and Maldives relations go as back as our civilization but politically saying we are promoting our relations from last 50 years. This is a major step in building better relations,” added Ambassador.

“Journalism needs ample correction at different stages. Many journalists have forgotten the ethics and purpose of journalism. Good journalism can unite the World and bring positive attitude in the community,” said N.P.Singh District Magistrate of Noida narrating stories from his life.

“I am thankful to International Journalism Centre for making Mumbai as part of this greatest show of journalism and cinema as partner,” said Kumar Mohan renowned film critic and editor of Bollywood And TV.

“Sandeep Marwah has created this film city where ample records have been formed, it needs wide international coverage which will bring India on a stronger platform in media,” added Ravindra Bawa renowned international journalist from BBC.

Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida 107.4FM, Rahul Makin of Fever FM and Kanupriya renowned presenter and Dr. Ajay Kumar Director ASMS shared their experiences of Radio business in detail and emphasized on the importance of most popular medium of Radio.

A book titles “Bobby Pins And Other Short Stories by a young writer Debashree Banerjee was released on the occasion. An exhibition of Photography by the students of Asian School of Media Studies was also inaugurated by the dignities. News Bulletin  on the activities of first day of 5th GFJN and poster to mark respect to Deen Dayal Upadhayaya was also released.

Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chairperson of Indo Maldives Film And Cultural Forum who later presented life membership of International Journalism Centre to the guest.

5th Global Festival of Journalism Inaugurated


New Delhi: 5th Global Festival of journalism was inaugurated with great pomp and show at Noida Film City to celebrate 12th February an International Day of Journalism declared by Sandeep Marwah Global Cultural Minister and president International Journalism Centre.

 “Job of the journalists is more than the reporting, he is the man of masses said H.E. Augusto Montiel Ambassador of Venezuela to India in the capacity of Chief Guest. Marwah should be the Global Goodwill Ambassador for his powerful activities to unite the World,” said H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal Designated Ambassador of Tunisia to India while inaugurating the festival.

“GFJN is first of its kind. it has brought thousands of journalists under one roof, added Shahid Saddiqui senior journalist and former member of Rajya Sabha. Prominent journalist Taran Adarsh Editor of Trade Guide said that we at Mumbai ignorant about the international activities at Noida Film City, this festival has brought two major film cities closer to each other.

“Good journalism starts from good reading and knowledge. A well aware journalist will be able to submit a better and a balanced report. Education and training like AAFT and ASMS is required all over the country to produce quality journalists from institutions,” said Udai Kumar executive Editor of Amar Ujala.

 “ Cinema is actually part of journalistic activity. Creating awareness and spreading information are the part of film business,” expressed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry giving examples of many films produced from the journalistic ideas.

Earlier an exhibition of paintings was inaugurated by the dignities to promote the art an important part of journalism business. Delegates representing print, radio, television, news agencies from all over India and abroad participated through out the day in workshops, seminars and master classes designed for the festival.

The festival was supported by large international organizations including International Film And Television Club, International Film Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Women’s Film Forum, International Children’s Film Forum,

Later Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios presented life membership of International Journalism Centre to all the dignities present on the occasion. The festival is for three days from 12th to 14th February.

12th Branch of Apna School Inaugurated at Noida




Noida: “The pain of being unprivileged is terrible. Even after 70 years of independence the country could not provide basics to our countrymen. There must be some error in the system, but we cannot wait government to do everything,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the opening of 12th branch of Apna School in the slums of Noida.

“Lets come forward and take some kind of responsibility to give back to the nation and to people to do well. Education is the key to success and self-promotion. It enhances your will to do well in life,” added Marwah while announcing the benefits and free education to the poor children.

Apna School has been in existence from last 6 years and started with 8 students, now 12 branches of the school catering to more than 900 students living in the slum areas of Noida. Principal Ritu extended her gratitude to all the departments of Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group for vast contribution and cooperation.


68th Republic Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios




Noida: Asian Academy of Film And Television has been proactive in celebrating all the festivals and important days in the campus to create an artistic and patriotic environment all the time on the standing instruction of Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

The 68th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pomp and show. The students were involved in preparation and execution of program on the National Day.

“We are the most exclusive country of the World. Largest number of festivals brings us back to our roots and traditions. All this is there to save our culture,” said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the colorful poster designed for the occasion and to mark respect to our Republic Day.

International Journalism Centre Invites All for 5th Global Festival of Journalism




Noida: International Journalism Centre- IJC invites all the journalists to come and join the most happening and powerful event of the journalists, by the journalists and for the journalists at Noida Film City from 12th to 14th February, 2017.

The fifth edition of Global Festival of Journalism contains large number of workshops by prominent journalists, seminar on the current topics, interaction programs, book releases, screening of documentaries, grand opening function and award functions.

The event will have separate entertainment program consisting of fashion shows and musical evenings. Competition on writing and short films is also part of the show.

The Global Film Festival    Noida has been designed to mark respect to the International Day of Journalism on 12th February as declared by Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah also President of International Journalism Centre.
