Social Works of Sandeep Marwah Appreciated by United Nations




New Delhi: “Sandeep Marwah is an institution in himself. His involvement in social activities is worth praising be it a disability, environment, sports, health, drug issues, human resources” said Kiran Mehra Kerpelman Director of United Nation Information Centre for India and Bhutan accepting eight films from Marwah at UN office.

Sandeep Marwah has just completed eight short films on the different issues of United Nations and handed over to the good office of Kiran Mehra Kerpelman at United Nation Information Centre, New Delhi.

“We had a wonderful workshop with UNIC and came to the conclusion of producing few films on UN issues. The films are ready and we would love to have a formal event for the release of these films so that they can reach to the maximum audiences” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

Polish Institute And ICMEI Will Work Together


Noida Film City: The cultural office of Embassy of Poland -Polish Institute under the leadership of councellor will work together with the good office of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

We are open for all collaborations, affiliations, associations with the country of Poland. We have already pass on the message to the cultural cell of Poland in India” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio & ICMEI.

Przemyslaw Isa Grabowski, Deputy Director Councellor and Aneta Święcicka, Visual Arts, Design and Theatre Programmer from the Polish Institute visited ICMEI to organize an exhibition of the posters of Polish films accompanied by the screening of Polish films.

This visit was the result of the initiative taken by His Excellency Tomasz Lukaszuk, the ambassador of Poland in India. Sandeep Marwah informed them in great detail about the work already done by him through Indo-Polish Cultural Forum and his visit to Poland where he was given the highest award as the representative of Indian Cinema.

Secretary General, Ashok Tyagi briefed the delegation about the areas of co-operation in art, culture, media and cinema that had been agreed upon. Later Sandeep Marwah presented them with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Sandeep Marwah Presented 6th BCS Ratna Awards


Gurgoan: “Indian Film and television Industry is big enough to accommodate different awards to the industry people. This is the only award in India designed for broadcasting industry “ said Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry & Marwah Studio presenting prestigious 6th BCS Ratna Awards to awardees at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgoan.


“We have left no stone unturned to make these awards special one and most exclusive for broadcasting industry” addressed Dr. A.K.Rastogi promoter and organizer of the national level awards. Rastogi is also the president of All India Cable Association.

ICMEI Promotes Clean India Concept on National Level



Noida Film City: “It was in 2004 when I was in Nanital and started this concept to clean India, being a foreigner people started following me and soon the people of hill station started believing in this idea” said Remco Van Santen from Australia.

“We followed the system and converted into an organized body, it caught on very well. We appointed Mrs Asia Pacific Dr. Udita Tyagi as our brand Ambassador in 2010” added Munishwar Gulati founder member of Clean India Movement.

“Sandeep Marwah was appointed Patron to the organization in 2010 to help us in developing the Clean India Movement” said Udita Tyagi former Mrs Asia Pacific.

Media Federation of India Part of International Journalism Centre



Noida Film City: The International Journalism Centre have joined hands with Media Federation of India a body of approximately ten thousand media professionals bonded in more than 25 different associations of the country.

“We want to be part of international media group and our federation has decided to be now part of International Journalism Centre. We believe that we will be able to contribute to international media,” said Arun Sharma President of MFI.

“I take this pleasure in presenting the life membership of IJC to Arun Sharma of Media Federation of India and trust that this organization will help in achieving our targets much faster and in smooth ways” added Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre.

Earlier a long meeting was held at IJC where Marwah invited Sharma to participate in Global Festival of Journalism and to celebrate 12th February as International Day of Journalism.

World Happiness Day at United Nations Information Centre



New Delhi: The General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution of 12 July 2012 proclaimed 20 March the International Day of Happiness recognizing the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives informed Kiran Mehra Kerpelman, Director of UNIC.

“It’s a great day for everyone, we must learn to keep our self happy with given resources and circumstances. We must work hard to fulfill our desires to be happy” said Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studio Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.

H.E. V. Namgyel, Ambassador of Royal Bhutanese Embassy who was the chief guest of the occasion reminded that Bhutan took the initiative with UN to declare 20th March as World Happiness Day.

New Delhi: “Amsterdam is open to the filmmakers and media persons of India. We welcome you all to come and shoot our locations, we will definitely take care of you,” said E.E. Van Der Laan Mayor of Amsterdam inviting Sandeep Marwah to be the guest of Netherland.

In a close meeting with the officers of Netherland Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI offered Student exchange program, faculty exchange program, a scholarship to student from Netherland, offered a film festival of films from Netherland, and a joint venture of short film to start with.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry also offered to shoot in Netherland especially at the city of Amsterdam.” We are aware of picturesque locations of Netherland and can motivate Indian film makers to shoot there” added Marwah.

Indo Israel First Film Venture Signed at ICMEI




“This is going to be the first Indian film ever to be directed by an Israel filmmaker in all these years. We feel proud that we could break the ice” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI announcing a first ever documentary to be made between two countries.

“International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is acting an instrument in promoting Indian film and television industry abroad and bridging the gap between India and Israel”, added Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI.

“I am lucky to be the first director to direct Indian documentary film. This will open up the new ways to Indian and Israel relations and many exchange programs,” said Hanna Anzi a trained filmmaker from Israel.

Soon the subjects and modalities will be finalized to announce this first venture in films. Marwah Studio and AAFT will take active part in finalizing the project.


Indian Sports Society Created 70 Sports Committees in Delhi




Noida Film City: “We are pleased to announce the formation of 70 new sports committees in Delhi in partnership with ICMEI and 70 newly elected Members of Legislative Assembly of Delhi. We want to start sports revolution from Delhi itself” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Indian Sports And Cultural Society on the national meet of sports at Noida Film City.

“The Delhi chapter will be followed by 29 state committees in sports at ISCS” added B.C.Bose General Secretary of ISCS reading the annual report of activities of the society.

India Media Fest 2015 Inaugurated at New Delhi



New Delhi: Two days first edition of India Media Fest 2015 was inaugurated with great pomp and show at NDMC Conventional hall at New Delhi.

Sunil Dang veteran Journalist and editor The Day After spoke about the role of journalist in today’s circumstances. Babita Biswas coordinated the program. The festival had seminars and workshops by media persons on different subjects.

Film Workshop by Canadian Film Maker at ASMS




Noida Film City: “We have found Asian Education Group the most active in film and television education. The visit of Canadian film maker at Noida Film City has added to better relations and cultural exchange between two countries” said Malti Bhandari senior officer from Embassy of Canada at New Delhi.

A full day powerful workshop was organized by the renowned Canadian filmmaker Jessie Curell also representing NBC the biggest documentary filmmakers association from Canada at Asian School of Media Studies at Noida.

“I am impressed by the facilities available at ASMS and AAFT. The enthusiasm of the students has added new energy to my workshop,” said Jiesse Curell.

Radio Noida Celebrated World Radio Day at 3rd GFJN


Noida Film City: To mark respect to the World Radio Day announced by United Nations 3rd Global Festival of Journalism designed the poster, which was released on the second day of the festival by the imminent personalities of media.

“Global Festival of Journalism has International Day of Journalism on 12th, World Radio Day on 13th and Valentines Day on 14th that’s how it has become a huge festival” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio.

“The Government of India has started emphasizing on social programs on all the community radios. We are happy that Radio Noida has been rated as one of the best Community Radio Station in India” added Brahm Prakash Director Radio Noida.

85th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Marwah Studio




Noida Film City: "It was only few people who attended the first AAFT Festival of Short Films in 1993—We never realized that we will be creating a World Record with this festival” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio on the inauguration of 85th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Noida Film City.

“This is the only festival in the World to touch 85th Edition, happens every three months and given opportunity to 2000 young directors to showcase their debut films” added Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT.

“I have never heard of so much of film and television works from one single media house, its commendable,” said S.K.Goel financial consultant. All the guests appreciated the quality of cinema.

The festival was part of 3rd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2015 supported by International Journalism Centre and ICMEI.

Grand Show In Sports- Athleema by Asian Business School

New Delhi: “We have decided to work on all the 162 international committees framed in ICMEI to develop and promote trade and business in media and entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio.

Secretary General ICMEI visited Aklilu Kebede, Minister Counsellor (Political, Public Diplomacy & Public Relations) of the Embassy of Ethiopia and gave a detailed presentation about the origins, aims and objectives of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Aklilu Kebede said that he has grown up watching Indian Films in Ethiopia and appreciated the mission of ICMEI of integrating the world through Art & Culture. He informed that they will proceed further on the arrival of the Ambassador Her Excellency Dr. Genet Zewide who was out of town on that day.

Still Photography of ASMS Highlighted at Global Festival of Journalism




Noida Film City: Still Photography is a very important part of Asian School of Media Studies. The department of still photography prepared a calendar for 2015, which saw light of the day on the 2nd day of 3rd Global Festival of Journalism.

“The department of photography has attained ample importance when the calendar prepared by students of their pictures is being released today by Ambassador of Slovenia” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio.
