London: World Humanitarian Foundation & Trident Communications London, a well-known media entertainment and event management company announced the Global Inspirational Women Awards on 29th January 2022 in association with ICMEI (International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry), Lion Club Delhi Veg to honour some of the prominent international women for their contribution to their respective fields.

The founders of Trident Communications Mr Shiv Kakran & Mr Mayank Dahiya believe in  saying that Women are known to have better intuition, patience, emotional focus, compassion and networking ability. The list of female strengths is endless.

New Delhi: “Bapu, with his non-violent teachings and ideas, played a very significant role in Indian independence movement and continues to be the most inspirational figure. Be the change that you wish to see in the world. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live for ever. Where there is love there is life,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University repeated the words of Gandhi in a   program organised by ICMEI to remember  Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi The father of Nation.

Fourteen years back we started Mahatma Gandhi Forum at AAFT and it has been now an asset organization of AAFT. Large number of books and films have been a part of this prestigious forum. We have been continuously broadcasting programs related to Gandhi on MSTV, Radio Noida and Radio Raipur. A special National Award has been constituted after the name of  Mahatma Gandhi for the senior most journalists of the country. Our production company has also produced some films on Gandhi lately,” added Dr. Marwah.

Martyr’s Day or Shaheed Diwas is observed every year on January 30 in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated at Gandhi Smriti in the Birla House by Nathuram Godse in 1948. This year nation observed 74th Martyrs’ Day or Shaheed Diwas. The day is observed to remember the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in the struggle for India’s independence and to pay our respects to them. The event was supported by World Peace Development and Research Foundation, Prithvi Yoga Centre, Sahyog-Koshish and Asian Unity Alliance.

New Delhi: We have been trying our best to bring in equality in the society which prevails when it comes to girl child. Large number of programs round the year are designed to promote women and girl child,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment  Industry in a webinar organised to observe National Girl Child Day in association with AAFT University.

“To start with we have never  believed in difference between male or female when it comes to education. Same preference has been given to females at the time of education, sports, co-circular activities, arts & crafts, skill development and events from last 28 years of our education business. We have been promoting these ideas on our radio stations Radio Noida, Radio Raipur and now Radio Mumbai also. Interesting programs are crafted on MSTV to leave huge impact on masses. We are associated with large number of women organizations to support this issue whole heartedly,” added Dr. Marwah giving ample examples of different programs of awareness.

The National Girl Child Day is celebrated in India every year on January 24th. It was initiated in 2008 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development  and the government off India, in order to spread public awareness about inequities that girls face in Indian society.

“It is only on the basis of undiluted Nationalism and of perfect justice and impartiality that the Indian Army of Liberation can be built up.Give me blood and I will give you freedom! When we stand, the Azad Hind Fauz has to be like a wall of granite; when we march, the Azad Hind Fauz has to be like a steamroller Dr. Sandeep Marwah repeated the quotes said by Netaji many years back.

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian Nationalist whose patriotism towards India has left a mark in the hearts of many Indians. He is famously known as the founder of ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ and his famous slogan is ‘Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Aazadi Dunga’. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on  23 January,1897 in Cuttack, Orissa and he died on 18 August,1945, in a hospital in Taiwan after suffering from burn injuries sustained in a plane crash.

New Delhi: The Indian Army was officially established on 1 April 1895. India got its first Army Chief in 1949. On 15 January 1949, Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa took over the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India. This year, India has celebrated 74th Army Day on 15 January, 2022.

This is to inform you that Dr. Sandeep Marwah had spent eight years in uniform when he was in Delhi Home Guards. He joined the para military force as  volunteer officer in the rank of  Battalion Commander and rose upto District Commandant. He was taking care of force of 4500 men directly.

AAFT University Celebrated International Education Day 2022


New Delhi: International Day of Education is observed every year on January 24 to celebrate the role of education for peace and development. The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the day as International Day of Education on January 24, 2018.

“This year marks the fourth year of celebration and the theme is ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education This year’s International Day of Education will be a platform to showcase the most important transformations that have to be nurtured to realize everyone’s fundamental right to education and build a more sustainable, inclusive and peaceful futures. It will generate debate around how to strengthen education as a public endeavour and common good, how to steer the digital transformation, support teachers, safeguard the planet and unlock the potential in every person to contribute to collective well-being and our shared home,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University in a webinar talking to educationist from different fields and country.

Education offers children a ladder out of poverty and a path to a promising future. But about 258 million children and adolescents around the world do not have the opportunity to enter or complete school; 617 million children and adolescents cannot read and do basic math; less than 40% of girls in sub-Saharan Africa complete lower secondary school and some four million children and youth refugees are out of school. Their right to education is being violated and it is unacceptable. 

“Without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind,” added Dr. Marwah.

New Delhi: National Tourism Day is celebrated across the country on January 25 every year to appreciate India’s beauty and spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its impact on the economy. The ministry of tourism is observing National Tourism Day under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a 75-week grand celebration to mark 75 years of India’s independence. This year’s theme for National Tourism Day is ‘Rural and Community Centric Tourism’ informed faculty at AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism.

“The tourism industry has badly effected due to corona virus and it will take another two years for things to come back to Normal. We will not lose the heart, the things will recover in a much higher speed and  then there will be a boom in the industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism while addressing people from the industry celebrating the National Tourism Day.

“Thirty years back I gave one word-Film Tourism- to English dictionary, nobody could understand that, today every country is talking about Film Tourism. To support our own decision we are able to attract Thirty lac people to Noida Film city through different events , festivals and film education & training,” added Dr. Marwah giving emphasis to Film Tourism.

New Delhi: Renowned film, television, and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios with seven World Records to his credit, is on the board of AICTE-All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India informed Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan Advisor-II (P& AP).

AICTE has reconstituted a body under the name and banner of All India Board of Applied Arts, Crafts and Design and has invited Dr. Sandeep Marwah on the board of this special setup. This has the approval of the Competent Authority of the AICTE.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University. He has been in creative arts for more than 40 years and has been associated with all kinds of arts and crafts of India. He has been the producer of largest number of short films in the World and has been a part of more than 7000 cultural programs all these years of all genres.

As special needs parents we don’t have the power to make life fair, but we do have the power to make life joyful.” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts at the webinar on special kids designed by Sahyog- Koshish of ICMEI and Rootskills.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the new website of a young girl Poorti Batra meant for showcasing and selling her paintings, which are so much appreciated by one and all. “Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles. Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work. It shouldn’t matter how slowly a child learns. What matters is that we encourage them to never stop trying,” added Dr. Marwah.

10th International Documentary Film Festival Noida Announced

10th Global Film Festival Noida 2022 Board Meeting

Noida: “This is the 10th year we have planned an international Documentary Film Festival under the banner of Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022. We could not do much last year because of Pandemic but now we have overcome the difficulties. This year documentary film festival will go international way,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts in a joint meeting to announce 10th Edition of Documentary Film Festival.

“Global Festival of Journalism Noida has already emerged as the most exclusive festival of the World. Earlier documentary film festival used to be the part of three days celebration of this journalism festival, but now even documentary film festival has grown big and expanding as a separate identity.,” said Dr. Sushil Bharti newly appointed Festival Director for IDFFN.

“International Journalism Centre has suggested to give more time to film makers to submit their documentaries. The last date of submitting the documentaries is going to be 31st March. Some very valuable awards are being planned for the winners. There will be also a participating certificate for every film,” added Ashok Tyagi Director of Global Film Festival Noida & Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh.

The festival will be presented by International Journalism Centre and is supported by AAFT School of Mass Communication & Journalism, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, AAFT University of Media and Arts, International Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum and many other National and International associations.

Moroccan Film Horses of God Screened at 14th Global Film Festival

NOIDA: H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India was present himself to inaugurate the screening of film-Horses of God from Morocco, an entry to 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 on the third & final day of the festival.

The efforts are worth praising many times. We are thankful for Screening Moroccan Film as special entry to the festival. Films from Iran Screened at 14th Global Film Festival

NOIDA: Some of the most interesting films from Iran have been brought to 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 by the Iran Cultural House in New Delhi. All the films including ‘Crazy Castle’, ‘Where Are My Shoes’, and ‘Bodyguard’ were screened on the same day- when the exhibition of art and culture was also inaugurated at Marwah Studios.

“Iran Culture House have been partners with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in every possible event at Marwah Studios. We have been conducting many programs together to create awareness about our wonderful relationship and to showcase the vast and deep culture of Iran to the people of India. This time we have the exhibition of different arts from Iran including Cinema,” said Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran.

NOIDA: Serbian filmmaker Gordan Kičić’s REALNA PRICA (Real Story) takes us through the saga of the actor, Veljko Radisavljevic, who has the impression that the entire universe has conspired against him. He is a walking problem and firmly believes that all the discord is created by the people around him, which is why he often gets into comic conflicts with friends, family, colleagues and even random passengers. Waiting for the big role that he believes will solve all his troubles, Veljko begins to lose his sense of real problems.

Film from Azerbaijan Loved by Audience at 14th Global Film Festival


Azerbaijan Film Part of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

NOIDA: Nabat is a 2014 Azerbaijani drama film  directed by Elchin Musaoqlu. The story is set during an upsurge in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict  and revolves around an old, sick ex-forestry worker and his wife Nabat, whose son has died in battle. The film was selected as the Azerbaijani entry for the Best Foreign Language Film  at the 87th Academy Awards, , but was not nominated. The film has actors like Fatemeh Motamed-Arya as Nabat, Sabir Mammadov as Major and  Farhad Israfilov as Davud.

We may not be large producers of cinema, but Azerbaijan has made some wonderful films,” said H.E. Paraguay Film Well Appreciated at 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

Paraguay Film Part of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

NOIDA: 7 Boxes in Spanish (Cajas) is a Paraguayan thriller film directed by Juan Carlos Maneglia  and Tana Schémbori. The film 7 Boxes was  released on August 10, 2012, and received praise from critics and the public as well as breaking box office  records in Paraguayan cinemas. 7 Boxes won the “Films in Progress” in what was the first unanimous decision in the festival’s history. The film participated at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2013.

“We are very happy that a film from Paraguay is a participating in 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021. We are also thankful to Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum for being part of the grand show. I am sure you all will love this super hit film,” said H.E. Fleming Duarte inaugurating the screening of film.

The cast includes Celso Franco as Victor, a porter who aspires to become a famous actor. He is recruited to transport seven mysterious boxes in exchange for one hundred dollars. Lali Gonzalez as Liz, a young woman who accompanies Victor on his mission. Nelly Davalos as Tamara, Jin Hyuk Johnny Kim as Jim, Víctor Sosa as Nelson, and  Nico García as Luis.

“This one hour forty minutes film is an asset to the festival. The film has added a lot of the creativity to the whole show,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   the festival. Radha Bhatt, Dilnaz Irani, Raghubir Yadav, Aroon Bakshi, H.E. Paulias Korni Ambassador of Papua New Guinea were also present at the screening in a house full show.

New Delhi: Renowned film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and National Chairman M&E BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Government of India has been nominated as the member of Managing Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Joined PHDCCI in 2001-2002 when Late president Arun Kapoor invited him to join the Chamber. Dr. Marwah started new committee title ‘Media and Entertainment’ under the leadership then President P.K.Jain and had been chair for eleven years till the President ship of Suman Jyoti Khaitan. He had been working hand in hand with President Ravi Vig, K.N.Memani, Sushms Berlia, Sanjay Bhatia, Dr. L.K.Malhotra, Satish Bagrodia, Ashok Kajaria, Salil Bhandari and  Sandeep Somany till 2012-13.

Dr. Marwah was renominated to the managing committee in 2014-15 by President Alok Sriram as Chairman for newly constituted Art and Culture Committee suggested by him and continued to provide his services to the Chamber with President Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Gopal Jiwarajka, Anil Khaitan , Rajeev Talwar and Dr. D.K. Agarwal till 2019-20.

International Organizations Supporting 15th Cellphone Cinema Festival


15th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Announced

Noida: “Cellphone has been the best friend to Human Being during the last two years of Pandemic. Right from personal matters to office matters to hobbies to entertainment in the most controlled conditions, Mobile phone has been utilized to its best by all of us,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts announcing the 15th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

Two of the main features of Mobile Phone or Cellphone are Clicking Still Pictures and making Movies. This is what festival is all about. We want to see how creative you are. Many organizations have joined hands with us to promote this festival in last fifteen years, the oldest and the first cellphone festival of the World,” added Marwah also President of the IFCPC.

International Film and Television Club has been the presenter and it has roped in International Film and Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Women’s Film Forum, International Children’s Film Forum also supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. Needless to say, Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been the first one to start a festival of this kind and has been earlier titled as Father of Cellphone Cinema.
