ICMEI Congratulated Romania on National Day

New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah Chairperson Indo Romanian Film And Cultural Forum and President of Asian Education Group congratulated the people of Romania on the National Day on 28th November.

“We extend our heartiest congratulations to H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India and the people of Romania. We wish for a very strong and happy relationship with Romania,” said Sandeep Marwah at the National Day at Hotel Claridges at New Delhi.

Diplomatic relations between India and Romania were established on 14 December 1948 at the legacy level, and were upgraded to embassy level in 1957. Romania opened an embassy in New Delhi in 1955, and India opened an embassy in Bucharest in 1957.

“Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, there have been 11 Presidential-level visits between India and Romania. In addition, two Prime Ministers of India and one Vice-President of India have visited Romania. Between 1984 and 2014, six visits at the Foreign Minister-level between the two countries,” informed H.E. Radu Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India.

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah visited H.E. Michael ANN Oquaye High Commissioner of Republic of Ghana to India to brief him about the activities of the Chamber.

H.E. Michael ANN Oquaye took keen interest in the further developing relation with India through arts and culture and agreed to visit the international head quarters of ICMEI to see for himself how ICMEI is organized.

“We are here to explore the market of films, television, media, arts and culture in Ghana. Ghana was one time the biggest film market in Africa, probably we can work together to revive it the way we could do in Nigeria and Bhutan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“We are ready to work with ICMEI. It is a unique chamber and we believe in cultural diplomacy too. I am sure we can do a lot together,” said H.E. Michael A N N Oquay High Commissioner of Ghana to India.

Noida: A powerful International event under the banner of ICMEI in association with AAFT and Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India took place at Noida Film City.

The Global Art and Cultural Summit brought 19 countries together to speak the common language of Love, Peace And Unity through Art and Culture informed Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to international press.

The second session brought different experiences of all the 45 delegates of 19 countries on the table of the house. Delegates from Russia, Nepal, Tajikistan and Botswana inaugurated the second session.

“We have special love for India as big brother. We have no boundaries as far as cultural exchange is concerned. Marwah has been nominated by the Prime Minister of Nepal to represent us in India,” said Umesh Bhandari from Nepal.

“We are thankful to Government of India to support us to be here in India, is the first step towards cultural exchange, a summit of this level is the second step for the promotion of this idea,” said Shifo Belmurodova from Tajikistan.

“African countries love Indian Cinema. Being today in film studios is like dream come true. I will never forget this visit to India. I am excited to tell my friends my visit to Marwah Studios,” said Lechedzani Senonyane from Botswana.

“ Need to promote Indian cinema more to Russia. We have not forgotten old Indian Stars and Indian culture through cinema. Summit has revised our deep liking for Indian culture and cinema,” said Gaiane Asatrian from Russia.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored all the delegates with the life membership of WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation and the memento of   Summit. All the delegates together honored Sandeep Marwah with the title Global Art And Cultural Minister.

Development of New Cinema –Discussed at 10th Global Film Festival

Noida: A powerful discussion took place in the seminar when renowned filmmakers expressed their views on new kind of cinema now available to the audience.

“The definition of feature has changed from long hours to 90 minutes. This will treat as feature film and film can enter into any international feature film category. Digital has made cinema much more approachable,” initiate Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

“I being a lawyer is an example to the young film makers. I fulfill my all Supreme Court formalities and duties and then make films too. Films are made from mind. Good ideas can be converted into a screen show,” said Anoop Bose filmmaker and Lawyer.

“My job is tough as I am covering only wild life and cant direct animals to act for camera as other fictions. But digitalization has added many comforts in shooting and editing,” said Praveen Singh renowned wild life filmmaker.

Ketan Anand renowned filmmaker shared his wonderful experiences of film business and film shootings. Harish Tripathi renowned architect discussed the role of designing in cinema. Later Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Noida: The 97th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television declared open by the President of the Asian Education Group Dr. Sandeep Marwah at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

“I am feeling like a proud father who has to sit with his children to give information and guidance about his field to them so that they should not commit mistake in life. We are marching towards 100th batch and excitement is getting double day by day,” said Sandeep Marwah addressing the new batch of AAFT.

“The 97th batch has seen a big change for better. Now a very capable and experienced Prof. V.S. Kanan has taken over as dean after the retirement of last dean added Marwah.

“We all have to work and explore our self in the best of the environment at AAFT. There is no limit to education and training. Put your best and groom yourself here,” said Prof. V.S. Kanan talking to the young aspirants of AAFT.

Prof. Satish Anand, Prof. Yogesh Mishra, Prof. Arun Anand, Prof. Sanjay Dattani were also present there. AAFT is the ten best film schools of the World. It has five World Records in media to its credit.

AAFT Will Promote Folk And Tribal Art




New Delhi: AAFT has joined hands with Paridhi Art Group and All India Folk And Tribal Art Parishath to promote folk and tribal arts through art festival in Delhi NCR where a festival has been planned for March 2018.

“We are keen in promoting all kinds of arts and culture. We have always believed that art and culture can bring love, peace and unity in the World. The art has no religion and no caste,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television in a meeting at Noida Film City.

“Sandeep Marwah is already our patron at Paridhi Art Group, his presence and experience is going to enhance the festival. Folk and tribal arts need lots of promotion in the country,” said Nirmal Vaid Chairman and Chief Functionary of Paridhi Art Group.

“We are quite active in South India, now we have joined hands with AAFT, we will be able to promote tribal and folk arts much faster and systematically,” added Raghu Hassan General Secretary of All India Folk And Tribal Art Parishath. The idea of this kind of book strings together 'Indian' achievements originated in 1989, The objective was simple- to provide a platform to ordinary Indians to showcase their talent in their search for excellence. New Delhi: The Indian Art Festival 2017 today inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and renowned International media personality Sandeep Marwah at Tyhyagraj Stadium. Hundreds of artists from all over India participated in this unique colorful event.

Entertainment Event Inaugurated on The First Day


Noida: The 10th Global Film Festival saw almost footfall of 20,000 with 17 events in 11 different halls on the very first day of the festival. Delegates from all over India and abroad were busy in attending every program possible, not to miss any as every event was full of information, education and entertainment.

The entertainment program on the evening of the first day was inaugurated by Jyoti Kalash senior IAS officer now  Resident Commissioner for Nagaland in Delhi. “I have yet to see a film festival with that kind of zest and enthusiasm. The festival has every thing, it is a sangam of all arts like cinema itself,” said Jyoti Kalash.

“We have left no stone unturned to make 10th Global Film Festival an exclusive one. It has everything of everyone’s interest including workshops, seminars, exhibitions, discussions, poster and book launchings, film releases, film inaugurations, retrospective of Chetan Anand, focus country Israel, international films, Hindi Cinema, Short films, Children’s Film, films on Disability, AAFT films and now full stage entertainment,” said Sandeep Marwah President GFFN.

Students of Asian Academy of Film And Television and Asian School of Media Studies performed and won the hearts of audience. The program started with the artists of Sangam Kala Group.

Noida: AAFT has done it! AAFT has proved to the World. It is a World Record When we talk about 96th edition of a festival. No festival could touch this number so far,” said Prof. V.S.Kanan Dean of Asian Academy of Film And Television on the inauguration of 96th Festival of Short Digital Films.

Sandeep Marwah welcomed all the guest and read the international record made on AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films.” This is the only festival to touch 96th edition, only festival happens four times a year, only festival where 2300 directors have been given chance to showcase their debut film, ”said Marwah.

“I am feeling as if I have come back home, I am attending the festival after18 years. My film was also part of the same festival many years back. That encouraged me to produce full length feature film,” said Zulfikar Ali alumnus of AAFT now Dean Indira Gandhi Open University Oman.

“I am feeling elevated and proud to share the same platform with my teachers who all have taught me here many batches earlier. I am at the right occasion when AAFT festival is creating a World Record,” said Sundeep Koucher alumnus of AAFT now Limca Book of Record Holder who has performed in largest number of episodes of Zee TV.

I have upgraded my knowledge on Cinema. This is probably the biggest festival of Noida too. The city is lucky to host such kind of festival. It is a Ganga of film information for film lovers and film makers,” added Anu Sinha renowned Dance Exponent.

The Ambassador of Romania to India H. E. Radu Octavian Dobre inaugurated an exhibition of paintings immediately after the formal inauguration of the festival in main hall. “ Global Film Festival is indeed an international celebration of art and culture,” he said while lighting the lamp of inauguration.

“I would love to come back to this place again and again. The new energy I have received I have no words for that,” added Gauri Munjal renowned actor from Tamil and Telgu Cinema.

“I have learned so much in just few hours, the capacity of Marwah Studios is at its display through this festival,” said Sefali Bhushan filmmaker popular for her film Jugni. “It is a complete show of cinema and arts. Never seen this kind of zest and enthusiasm in any festivals I have visited so far. Three Cheers to Marwah Team,’’ Shefali added.

Noida: The 10th Edition of the biggest film festival of North India –Global Film Festival Noida was inaugurated at Noida Film City. Large number of delegates from India and abroad were the participants.

“We have grown in last ten years, the reach of Global Film Festival Noida has gone to 145 countries of the World. A large cinema library has already been established. We are now part of many countries as far as cinema relations and development is concerned,” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN.

“India and Romania are good friends, through cinema and arts we bring our friend ship to new level. Romania has been a part of Indian films already many times we hope these festivals will bring more awareness of each others facilities,” said H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India while inaugurating the festivals.

“The excitement and the positive vibrations of the festival are serving the purpose of the event that is love peace and unity through art and culture,” said Donald H Green renowned artist from Australia.

“Film festivals are the best way for a filmmaker to express himself and built up solid contacts.  Youth must be given a right guidance to move further in visual media,” added Gauri Munjal renowned actress from South.

Film Maker Shefali Bhushan Film Maker from Israel Henna Anzi, Filmmaker and Lawyer Anoop Bose, filmmaker and festival Director of GFFN Ashok Tyagi also spoke on the occasion. The festival has 50 events including workshops, seminars, exhibitions, talks, interactions, screenings and entertainment evenings.

 Festival remained in the campus of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City for two days and the third day of the festival saw the Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at Vigyan Bhawan. This is the new national award constituted for Hindi Cinema.
