New Delhi: The President of ICMEI- International Chamber of
Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah congratulated H.E. Ahmed Saif
Al Rawahi Ambassador of Oman to India on the National Day of Sultanate of Oman.
“We extend our heartiest
congratulations to the Ambassador H.E. Ahmed Saif Al Rawahi and people of
Sultanate of Oman on the National Day of Oman. The friendship between India and
Oman has a very long history. We wish that our friendship should result into
bigger business relations every year,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of
Marwah Studios.
India and Oman have had trade and
people-to-people ties for several millennia. Oman is home to a large Indian
expatriate community and for Oman, India is an important trading partner.
Politically, Oman has been supportive of India's bid for permanent membership
of the United Nations Security Council.
