Asian Academy of Arts is Integral Part of GFFN 2013

Asian Academy of Arts is working on the exhibitions to be launched during the first Global Festival of Journalism at Noida 2013 film City from 12th to 14th February to promote good journalism in the country. Asian Academy of Arts has many divisions including Paintings, Sculptures, Music, Dance and Theatre. AAA keeps on organizing exhibitions and events to promote young, talented and hidden arts of India. Three exhibitions have been designed by AAA Asian Academy of Arts this time consisting of exhibition of cartoons by renowned artist Sudhir Talang, stills by the students of Asian School of Media Studies and one show by department of Multi Media. “We have always believed in promoting art in our every event. Asian School of Media Studies Proud of Alumnus Qasim Khallow

“I was absolutely unaware of films and film production when I joined ASMS Asian School of Media Studies in 2005. My alma matter not only gave me knowledge and training about cinema but also added a lot of confidence and zest to be part of this industry” said Qasim Khallow addressing to the students of ASMS. Qasim Khallow is now Director of Making of the Films including CHAMKU, HEROES, YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA, CHAAR DIN KI CHANDANI, Yash Raj Films EK THA TIGER, AURANZEB and now GUNDAY. He has also worked in more than 20 corporate films during his stay in U.A.E. “ASMS is proud of Qasim who has done commendable work and wish him a bright future. Association for Asian Union at Asian Academy for Asia Meet

“It is a wonderful concept to bring in delegated from all the Asian Countries to make them believe that Asian Union can also take place like European Union has proved” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director Asian Academy of Film And Television on the meet of Association for Asian Union at Noida Film City. Sandeep Marwah is patron to AAU since 2002 and has been working hand in hand with the concept to take a wider and broader look through this international involvement. Asian News Agency has joined hands with First Global Festival of Journalism Noida fixed on the International Day of Journalism on 12th February 2013. We are in high spirits that the date for International Day of Journalism has been decided by the renowned International Media personality Sandeep Marwah from New Delhi. Indo American Chamber of Commerce Part of Global Festival of Journalism

The first ever Global Festival of Journalism Noida is going to be the first of its kind in whole of Asia and the second one in the World. This is one mega event where journalism activities will be highlighted all the three days. The festival is being launched on the International Day of Journalism on 12th of February 2013. “Indo American Chamber of Commerce will be contributing its best through its media and entertainment committee” said Lalit Bhasin the Regional President of IACC. “we want to be the part of this international event “ added Atul Vyas the secretary General of IACC. Global Festival of Journalism is Created by ASMS- Department of Journalism

“We have more courses on journalism than even Cinema. All our training and education is bended towards journalism too from last 20 years. Interactive Session At PHD on Safety Measures For Women

An interactive session was organized by the infrastructure committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of Ashish Wig. PHD invited Satyandra Garg IPS Joint Commissioner Delhi Police to give a talk on “Proposed Safety Measures for Women in Public Transport” The subject was introduced by Suman Jyoti Khaitan President PHD Chamber who stated that there is a need to give rethinking to the unorganized crimes and daily hindrances which women suffer in public transport. “We are putting our best to provide a comfortable situation to every citizen possible. This is only possible when residents support us in maintaining the law and systems” said Satyandra Garg IPS to the large number of women gathered to discuss their grievances. “Education is the real remedy. We have to once again indoctrinate moral education in schools and colleges so that we have better citizens joining industries. Respect for elders, women, space to kids everything will come to lime light” added Sandeep Marwah renowned media person. The program was conducted by Ashish Wig and Ranjeet Mehta.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Launches Two Days Conference

INFA-Indo Nigerian Film Association organized two days conference at Marwah Studios Film City Noida in honor of HE Dr. Rabio Musa Kwankwaso Governor of Kano State in Nigeria on his visit to the capital in India. A high profiled meeting took place to strengthen the relations between two countries India and Nigeria in the field of films, television and media and to further develop a strong Cultural relations. “We are putting our best in this association and have been in a position to attract Nigerians to learn and educate themselves in the fields of films, television and media” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of INFA. Three days long 6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema closed with the announcing of the results by Shonali Bose, renowned film maker from USA and producer of award winning film AMU in the presence of Karl Bardosh writer Director from USA, Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Prof. Kalyan Sarkar festival Director. Three Different certificates were issued in category Still Picture. The first award went to picture titled THE LIGHT by S.Joseph, second to PLAY WORK WITH SHADOW by Aschie Gupta and third UNITY MAKES WORK FASTER by Preeti Negi. Special Jury Mention Photo Journalism Award went to INDIA EK AMIR DESH HAI AUR LOG GARIB by Ezaz Ahmed. Special Mention Jury Still Photo went to VAMPHIRE DIASLE by Ambuj Yeadav. Film Workshop By Renowned Film Maker Shonali Bose

A USA Based Film Maker Shonali Bose impressed the film students with her way of expression when she was talking to them about her works including feature film AMU at Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City. Amu is her feature film debut which she had written, produced and directed. Amu released in India in January 2005 receiving popular and critical acclaim. It then went on to premier at the Berlin and Toronto Film Festivals amongst many other international festivals. Shonali Bose has won 7 national and international awards for Amu including the FIPRESCI Critics Award, National Film Award for Best Feature Film in English and Gollapudi Srinivas Award for best first-time director. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios honored her with the life membership of International Film And Television Club. CEO of Marwah Studios Akshay Marwah and Faculty Karl Bardosh were also present on the occasion.

6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Started With Seminar

Asian Business School Will Manage Global Festival of Journalism

Asian Business School ABS an AICET approved business and management school with an additional diploma in media and entertainment has agreed to be the managers of First Global Festival of Journalism at Noida Film City starting from 12th February which is now declared as the International Day of Journalism. “The hard core management boys and girls will be there at the command to experience this first time event in Asia. Not only they will provide service to this glorious and historical function but they will learn how to manage an international event” said Dr. Lalitya Srivastava Director of the institute. Fascinating Workshop by Karl Bardosh At Asian Education Group

Asian Education Group a body of media and management schools welcome the great cinema master Prof. Karl Bardosh from New York University to conduct different workshops with different set of classes. ASC-Uclan Will Host Global Festival of Journalism Noida

British Writer Maddy Malhotra Motivated Media Students

78th Session of Media Training Begins At AAFT

“3rd January is the beginning of 78th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television. Radio Noida Constitutes Its Councils And Committees

Radio Noida has completed more than two years in the service of community and now we are reframing the councils in due course of time” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a joint meeting of the creative persons.

Poster of 6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Released

The 6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has been fixed on 22nd-24th January 2013 at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City. This concept was started by an international media personality Sandeep Marwah who is also the founder of Noida Film City.

 The first poster of 6th International Cellphone Cinema was here released on the 1st day of the year 2013 by the team of the organizers including President Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah, Ashok Tyagi of Asian School of Cinema, Dr. Shobha of Asian School Of Media Studies, Prof R.K.Singh of Asian School Of Communication, Prof. kalyan Sarkar of Asian Academy of film And Television and Satish Anand of Asian Academy Of Arts.
