 The first IBSA Gandhi Mandela Memorial Freedom Lecture was organized by H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa President of the Republic of South Africa in the presence of Shri Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India at Hotel Leela.

Mahatma Gandhi and anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela wanted to see a world where there was tolerance for each other's religion, race, caste and regional affiliation, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said .

Speaking at the first IBSA (India, Brazil, South Africa) Gandhi-Mandela Memorial Freedom Lecture, Ramaphosa recalled Gandhi's famous words, "Be the change you want to see in the world". 

"But what was the change Gandhi and Mandela wanted to see. They wanted to see elimination of poverty and a world where nations respect one another and multilateralism was upheld and respected and there was tolerance for each other's religion, race, caste and regional affiliation," he said.

He said South Africa is looking forward to build its relations with India. "We are two countries separated by ocean but bound together by the collective energies of our people. The legacies of Gandhi and Mandela have never been more important than they are today. We have a collective role in addressing global economy which is facing a number of challenges right now," he said.

“I am very happy on the visit of H.E. Ramaphosa, it has added a lot to India and South Africa relations. Indo South African Film And Cultural Forum was formed earlier by the special guest of President of India and visiting State Guest from South Africa Her Excellency Elizabeth Thabethe Deputy Minister for Trade And Industry, Government of South Africa, way back in 2013,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman to the association.

“It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet my Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has always believed in best of the relations between India and rest of the countries of the World,” added Marwah. The event was attended by who’s who of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Government of South Africa.

Honorable Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the Indian and South African delegations, President of the Indian Council of World Affairs, Dr TCA Raghavan, Ambassador of Brazil in the Republic of India, High Commissioner Kamboj, High Commissioner of the Republic of India to the Republic of South Africa, The Charge d’ Affaires of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of India and Members of the Diplomatic Corps were present there.

Noida: On 3 December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly adopted with consensus a resolution proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.

“The international community reiterated that education plays a key role in building sustainable and resilient societies, and contributes to the achievement of all other Sustainable Development Goals as it dedicated a special day to celebrate education worldwide,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah an educationist, President of AAFT and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Association.

“UNESCO, as the specialized United Nations agency for education facilitates the annual observance of the Day in close collaboration with main education actors like AAFT. I appreciate the efforts of AAFT in celebrating such an important day in the year,” said Onuel Uka member of Indo Nigerian Film Association.

AAFT Propagated About National Voters Day


National Voters Day Celebrated at AAFT


Noida:In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day" It has been started from January 25, 2011 to mark Commission's foundation day.
Observing that new voters, who have attained the age of 18 years, were showing less interest in getting enrolled in the electoral rolls, a National Voters Day was celebrated at Marwah Studios.

“it is important to motivate young students to get themselves enrolled in voters list and then encourage them to use their right to vote, we have decided to celebrate Voters Day at AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group a family of 15000 media professionals.

Speaking on the occasion the Commissioner of Scouts & Guides Rak K. P. Sinha mentioned that, “We also need people like Sandeep Marwah to propagate this subject of Voters Day through media. 14 lakhs cadets- part of Scouts and Guides, spreading all over India, need to be added soon in the voters list.”

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sandeep Marwah on being nominated as the Chancellor of the University and wish him great success in his endeavor. I am sure he will further work to his best and add on to what he has already achieved and proved to the World of Education,”

Sandeep Marwah has been honored four times honorary Doctorate, has been five times World Record Holder, recipient of largest number of International awards and has been representative of India on number of occasions abroad. He has been chairing more than 100 voluntary organizations.

Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film And Television he is also the President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

New Delhi: A delegation of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry comprising of President Dr. Sandeep Marwah and Secretary General Ashok Tyagi visited Embassy of Egypt to India and met the Cultural Councilor there.

“We welcome you to Egyptian Embassy and are well aware of ICMEI and Sandeep Marwah deep rooted association with our country. Dr. Marwah has extended enough cooperation and contribution to this association,” said Ahmed Ibrahim Aly Minister Plenipotentiary.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been the first person to bring award from Cairo International Film Festival ten years back. He has been Chairing Indo Egyptian Cultural Forum from last ten years. He has entertained many Egyptian artists and important visitors at his well-known film studios.

“The visit to Egyptian Embassy has revived our relations today. We will plan more events and interactions to develop and promote relation between two countries,” said Dr. Marwah. The Commercial Councilor, were also welcome the delegation.

A Patronship of Indo Egypt Cultural Forum was handed over to H.E. Dr Heba Elmarassi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The first three consisting of 2nd Runners Up went to Miss Algeria Nihed Markria, 1st Runners Up went to Miss Mexico Tania Mauricio and Miss Multinational won by Miss USA Daniela Nieto.

“Miss Multinational is the beauty pageant with purpose. Every girl must indulge herself into one or another social work where a persuasion is required. Now they all are brand ambassador of social awareness,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the final show at New Delhi.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored every participant with life membership of International Women’s Film Forum and World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

More than 2000 students of AAFT, ASMS, ABS, ASB, ALC  and School of Performing Arts enjoyed the electrifying music of   singer SUKH E in the lawns of Asian Business School. Dance, Music, Drama and Fashion Show brought huge excitement in the campus.

Sukhdeep Singh Dayal  better known by his stage name Sukh-E or Sukh-E Muzical Doctorz is an Indian singer-songwriter and music producer. He debuted his first single "Sniper" featuring Raftaar His 2015 single "Jaguar" featuring Bohemia was written by lyricist Jaani. He also starred and gave his cameo music in Vishoo K's "Chocolaty Girl.

ICMEI Presented AAFT Scholarship to Panama


AAFT Scholarship Presented by ICMEI to Embassy of Panama


New Delhi:  Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum recently formed by the Embassy of Panama In India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Jointly to promote and develop better relations between the two countries.

An addition to that ICMEI has offered a scholarship of a short-term course in film and television from AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television for a deserving student from Panama. The scholarship includes three months course along with three months boarding and lodging for the student too.

“We are pleased to handover the scholarship to H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affairs of Panama in India. This is what we believe in cultural diplomacy. The is the another way to bring the people of two countries close to each other,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI. H.E. Ricardo A Berna extended his heartiest thanks on this gesture of ICMEI and AAFT.

“The Non Resident Indians have great contribution in developing and bringing
India to new platform. They have proved, where ever they are settled, that an Indian can do wonders in their profession and business,” said General V.K. Singh addressing to Non Resident Indians in a GOPIA- Global Organization of People of Indian Origin at Hotel Taj at Varanasi.

“Every one deserve awards but some of you have done extra ordinary in their fields and few have proved even staying back in India with their expertise in foreign markets of different countries, Dr. Sandeep Marwah is one of them,” said Sunny Kulathakal President of GOPIO.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is in touch with 145 countries, attracted students from 120 countries of the World, more than 80 countries have extended their support to him by visiting his international head quarters and 50 arrangements have already been signed or forums have been created so far under his leadership.

“Never Ever any Indian has been nominated by 50 countries of the World as the representative, Brand Ambassador, Cultural Ambassador or Chair for Country forums. We all salute to Sandeep Marwah for his extra ordinary contribution to promotion of art, culture and tourism to that scale,” expressed Smita Srivastava Coordinator of the Program.

K.J. Alphons Minister of Tourism was also briefed that Dr. Marwah has attracted more than 1.2 Million people from all over India and 145 countries of the World to Noida Film City as the founder of the project in last 25 years of his non stop contribution to films, television and cinema tourism besides running a tourism and hospitality Institute. Minister appreciated Dr. Marwah’s contribution to Tourism.

Bosnia And Herzegovina Signed MoU With ICMEI For Business Promotion

Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina on signing Memorandum of   Understanding with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment when India and Bosnia     have decided to work together to promote arts and culture of both the countries.
The event took place at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.

“The MoU is covering development of journalism, Radio, Television, Cinema, Tourism, Animation, Hospitality, Fashion, Design, Performing and Fine Arts, Skill Development, Environment, Solar Energy etc. in both the countries India and Bosnia,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“We have been dealing with Dr. Marwah and ICMEI from last four years. We have full confidence in his capacity and capability. His experience in these fields will bring faster results in building up powerful relation between two countries,” said H.E. Cengic Mohamed Ambassador of Bosnia to India.

“I am feeling honored to honor Dr. Sandeep Marwah an international personality by presenting this memento of appreciation for his deep interest in the country of Bosnia,” said Ambassador while honoring Dr. Marwah in the presence of many media persons present on the occasion.

Dr. Sandeep informed that a special student committee has been formed in Asian Education Group who all are working on the subjects like fashion, tourism, cinema and have prepared a research book for Indo Bosnia Film And Cultural Forum created by H.E. Sabit Subasic the former Ambassador to India. A copy of the report was also handed over to Mr. Cengic.

A poster was released to mark respect to the completion of first year of formation of Indo Bosnia Film And Cultural Forum. Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI briefed the Ambassador with the details of last activities under IBFCF.

A visit of media delegation to Bosnia, a festival of films from Bosnia, an AAFT scholarship for the deserving student from Bosnia and participation in 7th Global Festival of Journalism are the points discussed in the meeting.

“I am happy to be the Chair of Indo Bosnia Film And Cultural Forum nominated by the Government of Bosnia and assure you that we will leave no stone unturned to make it a popular and powerful organization,” thanked Dr. Sandeep Marwah and presented Patronship to the new Ambassador H.E. Noida: On the first visit of H.E. Muhamed Cengic the new Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina to the International Head Quarters of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry signed MoU to promote art and culture between two countries.

“I know ICMEI has a wonderful relation with Embassy of Bosnia in India and we are working together for the common cause  of building powerful relation between two countries. Indo Bosnia Film & Cultural Forum has completed one year of its existence, we have to move forward,” said Ambassador Cengic.

We are pleased to honor Ambassador with the Patronship of the form as we will be able to work faster under his leadership,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI while handing over the certificate of Patronship to Ambassador.

Ambassador Muhamed Cengic presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, on 7 th December 2018.

Ambassador Muhamed Cengic is a career diplomat with more than two decades of experience in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Service. Prior to his current assignment, he served as Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Singapore and DR Timor Leste.

Ambassador Muhamed Cengic pursued Faculty of Political Science at Sarajevo University, Bosnia and Herzegovina and diplomatic training course from Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations, Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. His Interest includes photography, bee keeping. Apart from Bosnian language, Ambassador Muhamed Cengic speaks English and Russian.
