6th Festival Of Cellphone Cinema Will Get International Support

A super unique festival of cellphone cinema will see its 6th Edition on 22-24th January,2013 at Marwah Studios complx as informed by Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

 We are lucky that many international bodies are supporting the festival to come up to the expectations of international standard. “There are only two major festivals which are happening on continuous basis one at Marwah Studios Noida and other at New York University at New York” said Prof. Karl Bardosh Master Professor at Tisch School of Arts.

 Other than IFTC, IFTRC, IPBF, ICFF indo Wales Creative Forum, Indo Nigerian Film Association, Indo Peru Cultural and Film Forum, Indo Sudan Cultural Forum, Indo Turkmenistan, Association of Asian Union are some of the organizations who have sent their consent.

6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema on 22-24th January

We are first in Asia and second in the World to start this new concept of Cellphone Cinema 8 years in back in 2004 and it took us one year to plan it into a unique festival in this part of the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival and Marwah Studios.

 The 6th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has been fixed for 22-24th January 2013 at Marwah Studios for which now preparations are on. The festival has been attracting entries from all over the World in different categories.

 The festival is going to be presented by International Film And Television club a 19 years old film body founded by Sandeep Marwah from Noida Film City. IFCPC is one of the nine festivals being conducted by IFTC.

 International Festival of Cellphone Cinema is supported by IFTRC International Film And Television Research Centre, ICFF International Children’s Film Forum and IPBF International Public Broadcasting Forum of Marwah Studios.

Argentinean film maker visits ASC - UCLan



Buenos Aires born Argentinean film maker Daiana Rosenfeld came visiting the ASC-UCLan campus armedwith her first documentary ‘El Polonio’ for a special screening for the combined classes of both film production and international journalism recently.


The documentary describes the story of Natalia who comes to recover at Cabo Polonio, a town west upwards Uraguay, which is known for its charismatic beauty and is supposed to be filled with an aura of peace. Natalia had undergone a series of personal losses and drowned herself into pills to overcome the fear of the panic attacks.
 The film ended with an interactive session in which the students cornered her with queries ranging from characterization to camera angles and to leads which prompted her to take up this subject. 

 The screening was preceded by the address of Daiana, Spain’s Instituto Cervantes Cultural Manager Jesus Clavero , ASC-UCLan Head of School, R.K. Singh and ASC-UCLan Division head Nimrata Bagga paid vote of thanks.

Screening of Films Is A Uninterrupted Process-Sandeep Marwah

“Its been more than 20 years I have never stopped the screening of films in the campus of Marwah Studios. We have the collection of some of the best films of the world” said Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Children’s Film Forum. The screening is not only open to the students of AAFT, ASMS or ASC but to different segments of society. International Children’s Film Forum has its regular shows in the campus as well as at different locations such as slums, villages, community halls, clubs and social centers A group of 136 students from Sanskar Kendriya School recently visited Marwah Studios for the screening of Children’s Films and some of the films from Children’s Film Society of India were screened for them. The gesture was very well appreciated by the social group of Noida.

A Delhi boy Mohit Marwah has been launched by Karan Johar under his well known production house Dharma Productions where he has produced his first ever short film for fourteen minutes for an international company Chivas directed by Shakun Batra who had earlier directed Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan in Ek Main Ek Tu . “I am thrilled to be part of Dharma Production. National Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Banks’ Federation Ltd is the apex level organization of Agriculture & Rural Development Banks of the sector. The Federation was set up in 1960 & is administered under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002. The long term cooperative credit structure consists of the State Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Banks (SCARDBs) and Primary Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Banks (PCARDBs) which are affiliated to the SCARDBs. International Conference on Cooperative Movement At New Delhi

Sandeep Marwah-A Brief on Professional Life

Sandeep Marwah always wanted to be in films and that was for sure that it had to be more than acting. After gathering ample information from theatre, television and radio he thought of having a film city in North India. 1986 Sandeep Marwah submitted a project of Film city to Noida Authority, an idea which was out right rejected by all the different authorities of Delhi Administration for lack of interest and space. Then the Chairman & CEO of Noida Yogesh Chandra accepted the project which was cleared by Late Chief Minister Veer Bahadur Singh of Uttar Pradesh Government in 1987 December. In 1988 allotments were made and Sandeep Marwah was quoted as FOUNDER OF NOIDA FILM CITY. The name of Marwah got connected with Gulshan Kumar of T Series Yash Chopra of Aditodya Studios, Ramesh Prasad of LV Prasad Studios, Boney Kapoor of Surinder Kapoor Studios and F.C. Mehra of Eagle Studios to whom he brought in to establish the film city. Marwah Studios- In 1991 Marwah Films And Video Studios became the first professional Studios of North India. It has been 21 years Marwah Studios providing its services to the Nation and has churned out more than 4000 television programs for more than 50 channels and 120 feature films in more than 8 languages and approx. 5000 training films. Marwah Studios is also the birth place for number of channels like ZEE TV, Sahara, Pragya, Mahua, ETV, NDTV, STAR NEWS, etc. Asian Academy Of Film And Television-Sandeep Marwah realized the need of man power in this country. He founded & established the first private film school of the country under the name and banner of Asian Academy Of Film & Television in 1993. FLORENCE MISS UP 2012 LOGO LAUNCHING AT MARWAH STUDIOS

To promote the young talent ‘Beauty and Mind’ in Uttar Pradesh a well planned program has been launched by the group of people under the name and banner of Florence Miss UP 2012 today from Noida. “We have announced three scholarships to the first best three girls of the competition who can enroll themselves in the acting courses at Asian Academy Of Film And Television” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios who is also associated with the competition. Seminar on Cooperative Movement And Film Finance at 5th GFFN

Film finance is the most important part of film making. The digitalization of cinema has brought some relief to film maker but in large nothing moves without money” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN. Financing for cinema through cooperative movement was the subject of third seminar at 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012. Pankaj Rakesh of ASC-Uclan initiated the topic .Then it was case study expressed by K.Hariharan followed by Pankaj Parashar who also narrated his initiative for cooperative movement. Dr. Daman Prakash former director of International Cooperative Alliance encouraged audience to come forward in cooperative finance. “Manthan is the good example of cooperative finance, and recently awarded film I AM is another example” added Dr.Dinesh Executive Secretary of National Cooperative Union of India. Subhash Gupta Managing Director of Bank Cooperatives also gave his opinion on the subject. Vinod Lamba the President of Film Federation Of India was never in the favor of cooperative finance as it leads to confusion and mis- understandings. Seminar finished with a very strong note to start small budget films with small finance for small territoties.
