Majestic Opening Of International Conference On Cooperative Movement At New Delhi
World Peace Development and Research Foundation of Asian Society of Film and Television organized an International conference on Cooperative movement in India in association with National Cooperative Union of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Processing, Government of India today and tomorrow at NCUI Building, New Delhi.
“Twentfy Five crore people of this nation is associated with 6 lacs cooperative societies in India, we can start the peace march with them and through them” said Balram Jhakar former Union Minister, Speaker lok Sabha & Governor of Madya Pradesh while inaugurating the World conference and handing over National Awards to cooperators.
We still have to learn from Maharashtra the expansion of cooperative movement which alone has more than 2 lacs cooperative societies in the state” said Shivaji Rao Patil former Minister Maharashtra and member Rajya Sabha.
“I promise all of you that you will get full support and assistance when ever you want to think about cooperative movement” added Dr. Dinesh Executive Secretary of NCUI.
“It is my privilege to read the message of our Hon’ able Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh written for the book ‘Cooperative Development In Independent India’ of Dr. Balram Jhakar & Dr. R.C. Dewadi” said Sandeep Marwah President of WPDRF while releasing the book at the opening session.
More than 100 delegates were present from all over India and 16 countries of the World to attend this last session on cooperative movement during the year of cooperative as declared by the United Nation and International Cooperative alliance.
