New Delhi: Renowned International media personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been nominated as the Brand Ambassador of new campaign started from New Delhi under the title SHISHT BHARAT.

Shisht Bharat Campaign - A Dr. Angeli Qwatra Safety Trainings Initiative - under the aegis of a humanitarian, not-for-profit organization announced the launch of its civic sense inculcation campaign today. The campaign saw the presence of eminent dignitaries such as Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern region, Minister of State for Prime minister's Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, and Department of Space.

The speakers on the panel were Dr.Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor, AAFT Media And Arts University, Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Chancellor - Maharaj Agrasen University, Dr. Jyoti Gupta, Principal, Delhi Public School and  Naresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, New Delhi Municipal Council.
 
The main highlight of the event was the panel discussion, which focused on the topic, "Making India Shisht: Inclusion of moral science as a subject in the school/college curriculum is an important step."

The panelists shared their perspective and discussions highlighting the importance of including moral Science as a subject in educational curriculum for the growth of the nation from ground-up.

On the occasion of 12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema 2019, the first ever festival in the World started by Sandeep Marwah, the master professor Karl Bardosh joined from Tisch School of Arts, New York University to support the festival.

Accumulating over 30 years of professional experience in Europe, Asia, Brazil, Hollywood and New York in all genres of film and television, Prof. Karl Bardosh of New York University has been an award-winning director, producer, writer, editor of features, shorts, television series and documentaries. Throughout these years Prof. Bardosh has been a trendsetting pioneer in many areas of film and television. He has also been titled as father of Cellphone Cinema.

A Global Leadership Summit was organized by Global Leaders Foundation along with 18th National Intellectual Awards 2018 to promote and motivate people from different industries manly from education.

“Education plays the most important part in building up a good leader. All educational centers should be very concern what all has been delivered in the classroom and outside class,” added Lt. General K. M. Seth former Governor of State of Chhattisgarh.

World Day of Social Justice Celebrated at AAFT


Noida: Social Equality Justice day is a day recognizing the need to promote efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion and unemployment Marwah Studios recognized the need to make statements on the importance of social justice for people. A poster was released at AAFT to observed World Day of Social Justice.

Many organizations also present plans for greater social justice by tackling poverty, social and economic exclusion and unemployment. The United Nations General Assembly has decided to observe 20 February annually, as the World Day of Social Justice

Ideal topics for teaching students about the need for social justice include childhood poverty, global citizenship, human rights, and sustainable development. Srivastava Secretary General of IFUNA, Sandeep Marwah of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, Satish Kapoor of  WECARE and Deepak Parvatiyar  Media Advisor to IFUNA were also present there.

 “Al Amin Yusuph has been an Information and Knowledge Management Expert with more than 20 years experience in knowledge and Information Management, Media Development and use of new media for development accumulated at a national and international level,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization, Patron of IFUNA and President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

The international organizations that he had worked for includes the British Council, CIDA and UNESCO. Al-Amin has also worked as a Board Member for the School of Librarianship and Documentation Studies and the Tanzania Media Foundation.

He has been behind several new rural communications projects because of his keen interest in using communication for development and communication for gender equality and women empowerment especially for the marginalized communities and the economically challenged citizens living in the rural areas.

New Delhi:  An exhibition of Paintings under the title ‘Vibrancy And Joy’ by the renowned artists Alka Singh from Delhi, Usha Chengappa and Anuradha Nalapat from Bengaluru was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at Hotel Sheraton at Saket.

“The colorful paintings of these artists are spreading a powerful energy at this location. The three different formats speak a lot and add a lot to the variety of show. A wish all these artist a very colorful opening,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the exhibition.

“It is my honor and great wish to invite Sandeep Marwah, my visit to Delhi seems complete. I got the opportunity to have exhibition at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City,” said Artist Usha Chengappa.

Vikram Sethi, a well-known art promoter, curated the exhibition. Many art lovers from all over Delhi attended the exhibition.

Only last year ICMEI created Indo Gambia Film And Cultural Forum during Global Fashion And Design Week in the presence of H.E. Jainaba Jagne High Commissioner of Gambia to India. In a span of all these months ample has been planned and projected under this committee.

Recently, a scholarship to study films in India has also been presented to the Ambassador at the Embassy. H. E. Jainaba Jagne was also invited to Global Festival of Journalism and MOU between High Commission of Gambia and ICMEI has also been signed.

Guyana National Day Celebrated


Noida: A National Day of Guyana, which falls on 23rd February, was celebrated at the international headquarters of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Noida Film City.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to the people of Guyana on their National Day. I wish that India and Guyana relationship should flourish day by day. We have a lot to offer when it comes to art and culture, though Guyana also has a very rich culture of its own,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

ICMEI has already created a committee on Guyana under the name and banner of Indo Guyana Film And Cultural Forum. Dr. Marwah shall be soon inviting the dignities from Guyana to formally inaugurate the chapter.

Creative Arts can be Developed at Any Age- Sandeep Marwah

Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Chief of the Mission Embassy of United States of America Marykay L Carlson congratulated Salma Sultan for her efforts and appreciated her enthusiasm for promoting arts and sarees in a grand way.

Mahatma Gandhi National Award For Journalism Constituted by IJC



 

Noida: A powerful, prestigious and a valuable National Award after the name of Father of The Nation Mahatma Gandhi was constituted by the Asian Education Group in association with International Journalism Centre and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Never before any award has been constituted for Journalism after the name of Mahatma Gandhi. The idea behind this award is to felicitate all those people who have spend years in the field of journalism and their work is worth quoting for the research and education, ”said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the award committee.

Apart from being a national leader and social reformer, Gandhi was a great communicator. More than any one else, he recognized that communication is the most effective tool to shape opinion and mobilize popular support

Gandhi, in a journalistic career spanning nearly four decades, edited six journals. In 1933 Gandhi started Harijan, Harijanbandhu, Harijansevak in English, Gujarati and Hindi, respectively. These newspapers were the vehicles of his crusade against untouchability and poverty in rural areas. These papers published no advertisements even then they enjoyed wide circulation.

Noida: A dance recital by well-known odissi dancer Sharon Lowen was presented where she not only performed three different set of dances but also explained them in detail. It was a learning exercise for many media persons attending the same.

“It was a great decision to have an international star to perform Indian Dance. It has added a lot to the value of cultural program,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   the festival. “This is my first performance at Marwah Studios. I never expected such a terrific response from the young generation,” said Sharon Lowen.

Sharon Lowen is an Odissi dancer, trained since 1975 by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She has performed and choreographed for film and television and presented hundreds of concerts throughout India, North America, Asia, Africa, the United Kingdom. and the Middle East.

Sharon came to India in 1973 after degrees in Humanities, Fine Arts, Asian Studies and Dance from the University of Michigan as a Fulbright Scholar to study Manipuri and later Chhau and Odissi.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Presented     the life membership of International Journalism centre to Sharon along with memento of Global Festival of Journalism.

Noida: Exhibitions are always been part of all festivals. They are integrated section of all the Global Festivals designed by the international maestro Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City the ground place of Marwah Studios and AAFT.

We have many departments working at the same time. Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Audio, Video, Publication, Research, Design, Still Photography are some of them. This is the presentation of Mass Communication And Journalism Students who  have designed the cover page of News Papers,” explained Dr. Sandeep Marwah at the exhibition.

“The students are always very talented, but they need proper guidance to come up to the international standard. I appreciate the two scholarships which were presented by AAFT to Ghana Students have done wonders to their vision and caliber here,” said H.E. Michael A. A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp and thanking Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI.

“This is my third time in 30 days. A Marwah studio has a lot to offer to the World of Art and Culture. No one can compare to them in films, television and media presentation. Noida: The second day of 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 attracted many more countries and their heads in India to be part of this great gala international event.

 United Nation has already declared 13th February as the World Radio Day to emphasis the importance of one of the oldest medium of media. A poster was launched by all the dignities to mark resect to World Radio Day.

7th Global Festival of Journalism Honored Journalist on Day One


Noida: Journalism has always been considered as the fourth pillar of the society. Journalism is a difficult profession and needs lot of study, consistency, patience and research in detail. Eight years back 12th February- an International Day of Journalism was declared by renowned international media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who has been in media now for 40 years.

It was decided to honor and highlight all those journalists who have done well in their carrier but somehow not been honored much before. 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 this time presented life membership of International Journalism Centre to many and memento of GFJN to others.


“It is our great pleasure to present and honor all those journalists who have done well in their profession and also who have helped this profession to remain as one of the most prestigious professions of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

Noida: After the grand opening of 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 a seminar was organized to discuss and talk about todays Journalism Scenario in India in different mediums of media.

“We have seen drastic changes since we have been in media for 33 years. ‘The change is the only thing which is constant’, so we have been adjusting our self to these changes. But a sudden and sweeping changes in media in last ten years brought revolution in the industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah initiating the discussion on the subject.

R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India narrated some beautiful instances from his last experiences. Sanjay Singh Secretary Press Club of India and Political Editor News India also shared his experiences from journalism field.

AAFTian Rashid Hashmi now Editor in Chief FM TV News, Ajay Shukla Editor in Chief ITV Network and Vipin Gaur Editor Country And Politics and Secretary of News Paper Association of India spoke on the subject.

During the session a poster on Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi was released to mark respect to truthful and Patriotic Journalism.  The first copy of news bulletin of day One, published and printed by the students of Asian School of Media Studies,  was also released.  Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored all the speakers with life membership of IJC-International Journalism Centre of Marwah Studios. Albeena Abbas conducted the event and Col. Pradeep Gupta paid vote of thanks.
