Polish Film Week At Marwah Studios





Noida Film City: An exhibition of Polish Film posters under the banner “Films of Krzysztof Kieslowski in World Film Posters"  was inaugurated by  Przemyslaw Isa Grabowski, Deputy Director of Polish Institute & Counselor at Polish Embassy in India and Ms. Aneta Święcicka, Visual Arts, Design and Theatre Programmer from the Polish Institute at Marwah Studios Complex.

Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah said that we have been closely associated with Polish Films as he was honored at Gdansk Film Festival for his five World Records and later invited to be on the International jury. He also apprised the students that Polish Films form a part of the curriculum of the students".

 Grabowski and Aneta thanked Sandeep Marwah for organizing the poster exhibition and screening of the films. Ashok Tyagi, Secretary General of ICMEI, gave an insight to ICMEI, it’s working and how this chamber is associating with different countries by way of art, culture and films. Later, Oscar winning film ‘Blue’  by Krzysztof Kieślowski was screened. The exhibition is open till Saturday, 2nd May 2015. Indo Polish Film Association of ICMEI powered the event.

Hungarian Interest In Indian Hospitality And Tourism Industry

Media & Entertainment Skill Development Council Under ICMEI





Noida Film City: “It is the need of the day, today India needs skilled labor in every field including film, television and media. ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry is taking this responsibility to train manpower in this field under media & entertainment Committee of ICMEI,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

A body has been constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Dinesh Sharma to develop and promote skilled labor in the field of tourism, film, Television and media industry. The Skill Development Council will also certify the level of media education and setup of media institutes in India.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated President of Association For Asian Union




New Delhi: Renowned film, television and media person Sandeep Marwah who is also five times World Record Holder has been nominated as the President of prestigious international organization Association For Asian Union by the board of AAU.

“We could not find a better person than Sandeep Marwah who has a vast experience of international diplomacy,” said B.P.Agarwal the Chairperson of  the Organization.

“Sandeep Marwah’s involvement in forces for eight years has made him perfect and alert administrator. AAU will see a new height in his leadership” added D.K.Arya IPS former Director General of Police and Vice Chairperson of AAU.

The responsibility gets an opportunity to work for others and especially for the nation. I am accepting this honorary assignment and I am sure I will bring the results to this holy idea of uniting Asian countries like Europe” expressed Marwah.

ICMEI Constituted New Committee of Diplomatic Corps




Noida Film City: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has created a new committee under the chairmanship of Dr.Beni Prasad Agarwal former Ambassador to nine nations including Lebanon, Greece and Bulgaria and on diplomatic assignments in Moscow-Russia, New York-USA, London-U.K. and Bonn-Germany.

The committee will be constituted of senior IFS officers and Ambassadors in India and abroad to discus plans and execution of development of better relations with other countries.

“The high profiled committee of Ambassadors will use its capacity to develop better relations with rest of the World. We have, though already created 162 international committees country wise to do the needful. This committee will emerge as planning commission of ICMEI” said Sandeep Marwah International President of ICMEI.

Service Sector Needs Promotion In India- Narendra Modi



Delhi: Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India had made the transformation from a country worried about its 'brain-drain', to a country that now thinks of 'brain-gain'.

Inaugurating the first Global Exhibition on Services in New Delhi today, the PM added that India should assess its 'service' capabilities in the global perspective. He also said that India had vast potential to meet the skilled manpower needs of the entire world, and called for a careful mapping of global needs, which India could fulfil over the next decade.

“We have been in skill development for media and entertainment industry from last 22 years and now entering into the field of tourism, fashion, art and culture and management,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

“Many years back we realized that India will be requiring trained man power for different industries and now also for rest of the World” added Marwah also President of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry who was present on the inauguration at Pragati Maidan.

Soon ICMEI will open a chapter on skill development at the chamber to look into film, Television and media industry.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Turkish Delegation




Istanbul: A team of Turkish film and television personalities from Turkish Television visited at Marwah Studios under the leadership of Bilal Acikgoz President Indialogue Foundation at Noida Film City.

The team admired the work, which has been displayed at Noida Film City, and they also honored Sandeep Marwah for his untiring efforts in bringing Noida Film City on the World Map of Cinema.

“We invite you to Istanbul to be our guest so that we can reciprocate the hospitality and loving gestures you have extended to us” said Bilal the head of the delegation from Turkey accompanied with Mustafa Kartal, Manager,  Ali Zengin, Scriptwriter and Abduvakhid Azizov, Project Coordinator

International Mother Earth Day Celebrated at ICMEI




Noida Film City: “On Earth Day we need you to take a stand so that together, we can show the world a new direction. It’s our turn to lead. So our world leaders can follow by example” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the occasion of Mother Earth Day on 22nd April, 2015.

 For many, climate change seems like a remote problem, but the reality is that it’s already affecting people, animals and places around the world. A change needs to be made. “On April 22 we are harnessing the power of Earth Day to show our communities and our leadership that we want action on climate. It’s our turn to lead” added Dr. K.D.Gupta senior scientist on Climate Change

Sandeep Marwah Invited By Indian Council For International Cooperation

The founders were of the view that India must spread its concept of `Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family).

Sandeep Marwah Special Invitee at Tourism Conference




Noida Film City: “Tourism is the priority sector for Government of India. Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is keen in developing tourism to highest level. Our targets are from 67 lacks to One crore tourist per year” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma in a valedictory address at the tourism conference at Hotel Maurya in New Delhi organized by Mail Today.

The conference was inaugurated by the Honorable minister for skill development Rajiv Pratap Rudy who spoke on the subject in general and tourism as specific chapter of skill development.

Earlier different segments were created to discuss tourism including Film Tourism where Gulshan Grover and Rahul Mittra spoke on the subject.

Inauguration of 87th Batch of AAFT




Noida Film City: Sandeep Marwah is the emperor of media; he has brought 100 countries into his regime and a force of thousands of media persons into his region. I admire his capacity to work so hard and honestly” said Shanker Suhel State Minister in the UP Government inaugurating 87th Batch of AAFT.

“We are not far away from the century when we will be creating a new international record of completing 100 batches of film, television and media training from Asian Academy of Film And Television. Asian Academy of Arts Promoted Sushil Bharti’s Book




Noida Film City: “Writing is an art and can be polished by joining institutions like AAFT. Asian Academy of Arts has taken much pain to release the book AATMA by Sushil Bharti, which has added a wait to the writer, and the book itself. We are loosing the art of writing it is an effort to survive the traditions and culture” said Shanker Suhail State Minister of Government of Uttar Pradesh.

“We believe in writing, publishing and then in releasing the books with great pomp and show to preserve our heritage and culture of India” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The writer Sushil Bharti and co-writer O.P.Malhotra expressed their views on the book AATMA and answered questions from the large media audiences. “I am indebted to Asian Academy of Arts for releasing my book with so much of grace” said Bharti.

 Pankaj Kumar Singh Commissioner Commercial Tax was also present there. Prof Kalyan Sarkar informed that soon School of Arts and culture would be launched  soon from Noida.

Art Exhibition Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah at AIFACS



New Delhi: An exhibition of Paintings and sculptures of twenty artists was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at All India Fine Art And Craft Society New Delhi under the tittle Unwritten Thoughts.

Speaking on the on the occasion Sandeep Marwah congratulated all the artists who have taken initiative to be part of this great exhibition. ”Paintings are the expression out of uttermost bottom of heart. Painting made with love and clear intentions spread good vibes in surroundings and become part of human science” said Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Sculpture Exhibition at Triveni




New Delhi: You need to have strong determination to reach to the top: then only you get divine energy to fight with the unforeseen circumstances on your way” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while appreciating and inaugurating the exhibition of sculptures at Triveni Kala Sangam art Gallery at New Delhi.

“My theme is Women, I believe that Women can do much more than anybody else be she is at home or even at work. She is emotional towards her circumstances, this is what I have depicted in my sculptures” said Kusum Jain the artist.

Kusum Jain’s sculptures have evolved into fresh new dimensions with her mixed media abstractions. Both bronze and fiber bring a multitude of expression to her creations.

Sandeep Marwah Represented Indo Hungarian Film Association





New Delhi: It was great occasion when Ambassador of Hungary in India H.E. Szilveszter Bus invited People from different strata of life to create new synergy within the people who are friends of Hungary.

Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios also represented Indo Hungary Film Association on the occasion as a special guest.

Sandeep Marwah is the first film person from the film fraternity to bring award from Hungary for his contribution to cinema, television and media. It was first Shoot For Life; Shoot for Earth and then Miskolc International Film Festival where he was also invited to inaugurate the festival and as international jury.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Sweden H.E. Harald Sendberg, artist Naresh Kapuria, Politician Mahender Pandey & Abhishek Tankha, Europen Union Expert Sanjeev Roy, Councellor Embassy of Hungary Andrea Vajda , Go India Vice President S.N.Rai and many others.

National Federation of Tourism Blessed by The Minister




Noida: NFTC-The National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited under the preview of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India blessed by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Minister of State for Ministry of Civil Aviation (India), Government of India.

The members of NFTC including Chairperson Suresh Sharma, Director Lipika Sud, Director Savitri Singh, Secretary Chandra Kant Patil Kharare, Director Ashok Tyagi, Trilok Sharma, Director ASMS Dr. A.K.Srivastava, Director ABS Dr. Lalitya Srivastava, CMO Puneet Jindal, Director Talwar and Director Harshvardhan had a close meeting with the minister to update him about the activities of the National Federation.

“With the coming of film city to Noida the total environment in the North of India has seen a new change in the field of arts, culture, films, television and associated industries like advertising, music, dance and drama. The credit of this change go to the founder of film city Sandeep Marwah” a citation was read from the stage of Nrityangan Cultural Society.

“Sandeep Marwah has created five world records for himself and has already brought many laurels to India” added Organizers while handing over prestigious award to Sandeep Marwah at Sriram Centre for Arts And Culture at New Delhi.

The program contained awards to some prominent people from art and culture followed by Dance and Music Recital and fashion show.

Sandeep Marwah Presented National Media Excellence Awards



9th National Media Excellence Awards constituted by Media Federation of India, a body of ten thousand media professionals from all over India held at FICCI Auditorium New Delhi.

Arun Sharma National president of the Federation welcomed all the journalists from all over India and invited selected journalist for different categories for Awards.

“I am feeling more responsible especially when I am handing over 9th National Media Awards to senior, young and enthusiastic journalists for their achievements and honest work towards journalism” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

More than 30 awards were presented for journalism, television presentation, camera and editing works, different programs on television and their popularity and channels presentation.

Later Media Federation of India also honored Sandeep Marwah with 9th Media Award for his untiring contribution to the journalism.

AAFT School of Arts Launched by Cultural Minister



Noida Film City: After the successful ventures of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian Business School and Asian School of Media Studies the management of Asian Education Group decided to launch Asian School of Arts to encourage and promote education in Arts and Culture.

Recently Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Minister of State for Ministry of Civil Aviation (India), Government of India launched Asian School of Arts in a grand function at Noida Film City.

“We need to protect & promote our arts, traditions and culture, they are base of our success and living. The institution must keep in mind the skilled development of students so that they can also earn their livelihood after the proper education and training” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma.

Masters and Undergraduate degree courses in Music, Dance and Painting are planned by the institution to start from july 2015 informed Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.



Varija Bajaj Stole The Show at IFFD



New Delhi: “Extra ordinary Indian dresses part of our traditions and culture supported by live music by drum players- I think Varija Bajaj almost stole the show at Fashion festival organized by India Federation for Fashion Development at New Delhi” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“It was necessary for me to be part of the show as we are also running a fashion School- AAFT School of Fashion. You learn with every fashion show” added Sandeep Marwah.

“It takes you months together to prepare for the show. You have to showcase not only your creativity but something, which is wearable also. I have specialized in Indian traditional dresses which is all time in demand” said Varija Bajaj a well known designer from Delhi.

Present on the occasion filmmaker from Mumbai Rahul Mittra said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the
 fashion show. Varija,s  designs  look stylish & comfortable. It was a well-presented show. " 

 




AAFT- School of Hospitality And Tourism Launched




Noida Film City: AAFT an education group serving nation from last 22 years now planning to get into the business of Hospitality and Tourism. A new school of Hospitality And Tourism has been launched recently by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Minister of State for Ministry of Civil Aviation (India), Government of India at a grand function at Noida Film City.

“We have designed degree and diploma courses in Hotel Management and Tourism from this school. We have tremendous demand from the industry for well educated, groomed and trained personnel of this field” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

"We are touching only 0.64 percent of World Tourism; there is a huge scope for expansion and improvement. I expect high standard of education from AAFT which has done commendable job in films and television” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma congratulating Marwah for taking this initiative.

Film Work Shop by Aroon Bakshi at ASMS




“No success comes so easily, you have to slog to reach on the top. You need to spend number of years to create a place for yourself in this competitive world” said Aroon Bakshi anwering questions by the media students of Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

“We have left no stone unturned to prove our self and our capabilities to stay into this most glamorous World of Cinema” expressed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry introducing Aroon Bakshi to the audience.

“I am thankful to Aroon for his gracious presence and sharing a vast experience with our students” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Aroon Bakshi  ‏is an Indian film and television actor and also a singer. He has acted as a character actor in over 100 Hindi films, and as a playback singer has also sung 298 songs. He has also worked in Punjabi and Bhojpuri cinema.
