Service Sector Needs Promotion In India- Narendra Modi



Delhi: Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India had made the transformation from a country worried about its 'brain-drain', to a country that now thinks of 'brain-gain'.

Inaugurating the first Global Exhibition on Services in New Delhi today, the PM added that India should assess its 'service' capabilities in the global perspective. He also said that India had vast potential to meet the skilled manpower needs of the entire world, and called for a careful mapping of global needs, which India could fulfil over the next decade.

“We have been in skill development for media and entertainment industry from last 22 years and now entering into the field of tourism, fashion, art and culture and management,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

“Many years back we realized that India will be requiring trained man power for different industries and now also for rest of the World” added Marwah also President of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry who was present on the inauguration at Pragati Maidan.

Soon ICMEI will open a chapter on skill development at the chamber to look into film, Television and media industry.
