Where there is love there is life,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University repeated the words of Gandhi in a program organised by ICMEI to remember Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi The father of Nation.
Fourteen years back we started Mahatma Gandhi Forum at AAFT and it has been now an asset organization of AAFT. Large number of books and films have been a part of this prestigious forum. We have been continuously broadcasting programs related to Gandhi on MSTV, Radio Noida and Radio Raipur. A special National Award has been constituted after the name of Mahatma Gandhi for the senior most journalists of the country. Our production company has also produced some films on Gandhi lately,” added Dr. Marwah.
Martyr’s Day or Shaheed Diwas is observed every year on January 30 in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated at Gandhi Smriti in the Birla House by Nathuram Godse in 1948. This year nation observed 74th Martyrs’ Day or Shaheed Diwas. The day is observed to remember the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in the struggle for India’s independence and to pay our respects to them. The event was supported by World Peace Development and Research Foundation, Prithvi Yoga Centre, Sahyog-Koshish and Asian Unity Alliance.
