5th Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism on 12th February

Noida: The 5^th edition of most prestigious National level awards for the excellence in journalism after the name of   Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi is going to be online this time on 12^th February 2022-The International Day of Journalism as declared by International Journalism Centre.

“The awards are presented to the senior most journalist who all have actually spent their lives in the field of journalism and have created a wonderful niche for themselves. There are many veteran journalists who have not been honoured for their self-less services to the nation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 10^th Global Festival of Journalism and Chair for 5^th Mahatma Gandhi National Awards for Journalism.

The award has been constituted by Marwah Studios in association with International Journalism Centre only five years back when IJC realised the need to honour veterans with a very high profiled award. Need not forget that Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was also a journalist and used to write and publish papers in good old days. The event is supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, AAFT University and Mahatma Gandhi Forum of Marwah Studios.
