Dakar: “To
have a stronger base for the development of film business in Senegal, it needs
a professional and a world class film school with 360 degree exposure to the
students in this field” suggested Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in
his first meeting with the Minister of Culture, Democratic Republic of Senegal
here at Dakar.
Sandeep
Marwah a well known international media personality has been invited by the
Government of Senegal as state guest from India to look into the needs of
development and promotion of cinema and other media activities in the country.
The high
profiled meeting took place in the Ministry of Culture with the Minister of
Culture Abdoul Aziz MBAYE. The Ambassador of India to Senegal H.E. Partha
Satpathy was the special invitee. Hugues DIAZ Director of Cinematography,
Ministry of culture and filmmaker Modibo Diawara were also present there.
