“The
General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution of 12 July 2012 proclaimed 20 March
the International Day of Happiness recognizing the relevance of happiness and
well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings
around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy
objectives” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Ambassador
of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations..
“The
United Nations invites Member States, international and regional
organizations, as well as civil society, including non-governmental
organizations and individuals, to observe the International Day of Happiness in
an appropriate manner, including through education and public awareness-raising
activities” added Marwah also the President of Asian Education Group.
“Happiness
may have different meanings for different people, but we can all agree that it
means working to end conflict, poverty and other unfortunate conditions in
which so many of our fellow human beings live” Dr Shobha read the message of
Secretary General of United Nation Ban Ki Moon.
