Father Of The Nation Remembered At Mahatama Gandhi Forum
‘Raghupati Ragav Raja Ram, Pati Te Pawan Sita Ram’ chanting changed the whole environment in the auditorium at Marwah Studios, film city Noida in a program jointly organized by Mahatma Gandhi Forum and World Peace Development and Research Foundation to remember late Mohandass Karamchand Gandhi-the father of the nation.
“The last word uttered by Gandhi on 30th January, 1949 was ‘Hey Ram’. During all his life Gandhi always wanted unity and peace in the country. Lets work on those lines and fulfill the dreams of Gandhi” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios to the young film makers.
The management of Asian Education Group announced ‘Sheela Marwah Scholarship’ for the deserving girl students on the occasion as it is also the death anniversary of Smt. Sheela Marwah. The event was supported by International Children’s Film Forum and International Public Broadcasting Forum. Marwah also announced the making of short films on the principals of Gandhi and a large collection of books at Sewa Ram Library at the campus.

Sandeep Marwah Appoints Youth Ambassador of Peace
Eight Youth Ambassadors have been selected by the special committee of Asian Education Group who all were later presented the certificate of appointment by Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios in a glittering function at Noida Film City.
Sandeep Marwah was appointed as Ambassador of Peace for India by Reverend Sun Myung Moon founder of Universal Peace Federation an organization having offices in 192 countries of the World to support United Nation in 2007 during his visit to New Delhi with the power to further appoint youth Peace Ambassadors in India
Sandeep Marwah has been continuously working in this field of Peace and Spirituality where as he has also recently been nominated as the Chairperson of World Peace Development And Research Foundation. Keeping the flag flying Marwah decided to further appoint youth Ambassadors of Peace to strengthen the peace force of youth wing of Universal Peace Federation.
The eight new Youth Ambassadors are Sanjana Bose and Arthur Khakiimullin from Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Thakur Dev Singh from Asian Business School, Roshan Lama from Asian School Of Communication, Oni Oyoife, Srishti Mehra, Indraneel Khan and C.R.Justy from Asian School Of Media Studies.

73rd AAFT Festival Of Short Digital Films Announced
The International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios a creative enterprises announced its next event i.e. 73rd edition of AAFT Festival of short digital films to be held at Noida Film City in the month of February 2012.
“All those films which we have produced in the 73rd batch of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, the pioneer film school of India will be part of the competition” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “The jury will finalize the best ones and all those films will be screened for public” added Marwah.
AAFT Festival Of Short Films is the only festival of its kind which happens four times in a year and has touched the 73rd edition in 18 years of its existence. This is one of the rarest festivals which has showcased more than 1100 films touching film makers hailing from 80 countries of the World.

Marwah Studios Endeavour to Reach Global Creative Space
Marwah Studios in association with Hungarian Information and Cultural centre hosted a painting and sculpture exhibition of 11 Hungarian artists as a part of 5th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema 2012 at its complex.
Inaugurating the exhibition Tibor Kovacs the Director of Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Delhi said that this exhibition is another step towards developing and maintaining the friendship between two countries.
Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios said that the art knows no boundaries and it is the ultimate expression of human freedom and space. He also declared open the 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema of Asian Academy of Film and Television to be held on 20th January at Noida Film City.
Speaking on behalf of Hungarian Cultural Centre Harleen Singh said that all the paintings and both the sculptures have a lasting impact of the spiritual mood and ambience of Nasik and its famous river Godavari.
The exhibition was attended by Karl Bardosh of Tisch School Of Arts, New York University, Anup Bhandari of Model and Trends, Sanjay Rathee National Secretary of Union Of Journalist and Ms Orsi Kovcas along with large media students and faculty.

Poster For 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema Launched
“These extra co circular activities not only motivates but unite students of different streams and background in a media university like AAFT” said Dr.Depandra Pathak Vice Chancellor of Venketeshwar University while launching an attractive poster of 5th IFCC in yellow color which is supposed to be the color of cinema in a grand function at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.
A great excitement await for the participants from all over the World including host film school Asian Academy of Film and Television on 20th January when the Cell Phone Cinema festival will screen best films and declare attractive awards at Marwah Studios campus.
The Last date is 18th of January to submit your entry. The President of the festival Sandeep Marwah invited the students to put their best foot forward through their creativity in this latest version of film making. He said it is both an opportunity and a challenge.

74TH Batch Of Asian Academy Inaugurated
“Traditional and innovative education in a state of art centre blended with World culture can only produce genius and intelligent students, and AAFT is doing the same” said Dr.Davendra Pathak, Vice Chancellor of Venkeshwar University while inaugurating the 74th batch of Asian Academy Of Film And Television at Noida Film City.
“We have achieved a lot but ample is yet to achieve. Our 74th batch is now taking us to Platinum Jubilee in next three months” added Sandeep Marwah the president of the Academy who exhorted the students to make best use of this opportunity bestowed to them.
Present on the occasion Prof. Karl Bardosh the master professor in Tisch School Of Arts at New York University told students that they have become a part of the long tradition of creative media and entertainment and bright future awaits them.
Pakistani music artist Shahrukh Shiekh said he was elated to witness a history in the making at the 74th session of a media school something which is unheard of in this part of the world.

National Media Award For Asian Academy Of Film And Television
Asian Academy Of Film And Television AAFT) has been adjusted as the best film and television institute in the country. The film school has churned out 10,000 media professionals from 84 countries of the World in last 19 years.
Ekta Kapoor's The Dirty Picture has been named best picture, while Vidya Balan has been adjudged best actress for the same film at The Eighteenth National Media Network Film and TV awards.
The awards, instituted by National Media Network and Akhil Bharatiya Swatantra Patrakar Avom Lekhak Sangh, an association of freelance journalists and writers, will be given on January 21 here where TV czarina Ekta will also be honoured for being a successful film and TV producer in Indian film and TV industry.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn has been named the best actor for Rohit Shetty's Singham, while Farhan Akhtar will be conferred with best director award for Don 2 - The King Is Back. The hero of all-time hit award goes to actor Anil Kapoor. NDTV has been named the best Hindi news channel.
Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, veteran lyricist Gulzar and TP Aggarwal, chairman, Film Federation of India will be given lifetime achievement awards, according to Daya Nand Vats, general secretary of the Sangh.

Radio Noida Will Promote Indian Folk Music
Radio Noida 107.4FM the most popular Radio Station of Noida catering to almost 2 million people of the city and surroundings have now decided to promote the folk music of this area in a big way.
A music CD has been designed to highlight the typical folk music of Uttar Pradesh composed, sung and music by Nagar group which has been recorded for broadcasting.
“The purpose of the radio station is to give support to every section of the society which is looking for assistance and involvement to reach to the masses” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
A formal launching of the CD had taken place on 1st January at Marwah Studios where Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the first of its kind in series of folk music planned this year.
The planning of this department will be taken care by the alumnus of Asian Business School Payal Singh MBA in Media Management. Brahm Prakash Director Radio Noida will invite folk music singers, musicians and music directors to come forward.
