Berne: Renowned media personality of India Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts was invited by H.E. Monika Kapil Mohta Ambassador of India to Switzerland on his official visit to Zurich on the celebration of Bharat Mahotsav- 75 Years of India’s Independence.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah informed Ambassador about the first film University of the country under the name and banner of AAFT University of Media and Arts at Raipur India and offered Scholarship to the deserving student from Switzerland to learn in India. He also showed interest to collaborate with schools of Hospitality and tourism from Switzerland.

Dr. Marwah extended his ideas of opening an Indo Swiss Film and Cultural Forum under the established International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to develop and promote relation between two countries through art and culture. H.E. Monika Mohta also gave many new ideas related to films, television and media industry which can be part and parcel of this forum. Dr. Madhup Mohta, Reena Marwah, Mahendrasinh C Jadeja and Amar Kavi were also present there.

Noida: His Holiness Bhikkhu Sanghasena met Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios as to discuss what all can be done together to bring in love, peace and unity to the Indian society specifically and rest of the World in general through a powerful body of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and AAFT University of Media and Arts under the leadership of Global Peace Ambassador Sandeep Marwah. 

Dr. Sandeep Marwah appreciated Bhikkhu Sanghasena for his visionary work and constant efforts to inculcate spirituality in all walks of life. A short session with the AAFT students was organized, where Bhikkhu Sanghasena addressed the students on the importance of spirituality in one’s day-to-day activities, as modern education is merely menial without the application of compassion and spirituality.

A special radio Noida and MSTV interview was planned where Bhikku Sanghasena spoke about the application of Spirituality in today’s time. Answering the questions His Holiness  emphasised on the teachings of Lord Buddha. He very well said “If you know the art of living this earth can become heaven and one can experience heaven on earth, here and now.”

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured Bhikkhu Sanghasena with a Life Membership of WPDRF-World Peace Development & Research Foundation of the Marwah Studios and agreed to host one of the Mahakaruna Diwas 2022 programs at the AAFT University campus.

Both the peace leaders discussed a wide range of matters and agreed to work together for the Promotion and preservation of Peace, Cultural Heritage, Spirituality, Global harmony, and the spreading of Universal Compassion. New Delhi: Glen T Martin visited Noida Film City in Uttar Pradesh to meet renowned media personality & Global Peace Ambassador Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts to discuss the World Peace.

Glen T. Martin, Ph.D., is Professor of Philosophy and Chair Emeritus of the program in Peace Studies at Radford University in Virginia, USA. He is President of International Philosophers for Peace (IPPNO) and President of the World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA), a worldwide organization that sponsors the Constitution for the Federation of Earth.

He is author or editor of eleven books, including his well-known book, Millennium Dawn: the Philosophy of Planetary Crisis and Human Liberation (2005) One World Renaissance: Holistic Planetary Transformation through a Global Social Contract (2016), and his latest book Global Democracy and Human Self-Transcendence: The Power of the Future for Planetary Transformation (2018). Indo France Cultural Forum Touched New Heights

Paris: “I am indebted to France for one of the best awards I have ever received. It was 2020 when I was honored Lifetime Achievement Award at Cannes. Indo France Film and Cultural Forum was created under International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to develop and promote relation between the two countries     through art and culture. Paris: The pandemic had created immense restrictions as far as tourism is concerned. Local as well as international tourism have suffered a lot. The trade has suffered loses in billions. With opening of tourism and international airlines hotels, airlines, transportation, restaurants have breathed little. Noida: The new Governing council of AAFT Education Group comprising of short- and long-term courses in different creative fields was reconstituted under the Patronship of renowned media person and president of Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“It was long due; we were just waiting for pandemic to get over so that new committee of alumni can be reconstructed to felicitate 15000 students who all have passed from different streams of creative arts in last 28 years of education. “We are ready to take the organisation to new level. The new energy, after so many months of pandemic break, will be utilised for supporting the alumni of all the schools under AAFT. “It was difficult to convenience people of this country that film education can be delivered to aspirants by a private educational institution in this country. AAFT- Asian Academy of Film and Television is the fourth film institution in the country, the first three belongs to the Government of India. The myth was broken by Sandeep Marwah in 1993 when first film school in private sector and first in the North of India was established and brought the first biggest change in the country,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

“All over the World including India film and mass communication courses were part of Post-Graduation (Master Courses). First time Sandeep Marwah brought the level of film training to Undergraduate level and 12^th became the basic requirement to these courses. It was a huge change in the mindset and many students who wanted to be in creative arts appreciated and saved three years of unessential education in other disciplines,” added Marwah.

First time mass communication courses were redesigned from theory inputs to skill development inputs. Sandeep Marwah faced huge criticism but succeed in applying large practical in all these courses, especially in degree courses.

Never seen before the application form of enrolment to get admission in college cut down two tough requirements of Cast & creed of the student and the religion of the aspirants. Sandeep Marwah first time got them deleted these two massive old traditions from the admission forms.

Recently IPBF has started Radio Raipur, an online radios station, in association with AAFT University of Media and Arts at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Probably the next station will be Radio Mumbai.

Noida:  International Children’s Film Forum was created by the management of Marwah Studios as an alternative and supporting body to Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Now ICFF has emerged as a very popular and active organization.

ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum like every year decided to play an important role during the 14^th Global Film Festival Noida to highlight films directly connected to Children.

The students learning at the 12 branches of Apna School will also get an opportunity to be part of the festival. A special screening is allotted to children’s film during the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah who has been running the organization from last thirty years.

International Children’s Film Forum is there to promote cinema, visual media and creative arts among children of school and colleges. More than 1000 schools and colleges have been entertained so far through Global Film Festivals during the last so many years. Mumbai: The first poster of forthcoming 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 was released    here by the renowned film personalities in a grand function organized by the Chairman of Coordination Committee of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Mumbai & film producer Rajeev Choudhary at Celebration Club in Mumbai.

Films are the best way to capture the art and culture and are also the ambassador of culture of any country, whereas the festivals are the marvelous way to showcase the same. We have been conducting large number of festivals round the year but the most famous is Global Film Festival Noida. GFFN has become popular after IFFI changed its base to Goa from Delhi,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN in a function to release the poster.

The poster was jointly released by renowned actor Shakti Kapoor, Krushna Abhishek, Payal Ghosh and film director Rahul Rawail. “We are proud of Marwah Studios for conducting so many festivals round the year and inviting film makers from all over the World. It is the real international integration,” said Rahul Rawail. “It will be great to be the part of the festival this time,” added Krushna Abhishek.
