AAFT Observed 73rd Death Anniversary of Sardar Patel |
Noida: The Sardar Patel Forum of AAFT observed a solemn ceremony on 15th December to pay tribute to the visionary leader and the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his 73rd death anniversary. The poignant event was organized at Marwah Studios, bringing together students, faculty, and dignitaries to commemorate the enduring legacy of this stalwart who played a pivotal role in the unification of India.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as the “Bismarck of India,” was a key figure in the Indian independence movement and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India. His contributions to the nation are immeasurable, particularly in the integration of princely states into the Union of India, a task that earned him the title “Iron Man.”
Addressing the audience, Dr Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios remarked, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s legacy is a beacon of inspiration for all of us. His unwavering commitment to national unity, his leadership during challenging times, and his vision for a strong, united India continue to guide our nation. Today, we remember him not just as a historical figure but as an embodiment of courage, integrity, and statesmanship.”
As part of the event, AAFT announced initiatives to promote awareness about Sardar Patel’s life and values among the students, ensuring that the younger generation imbibes the spirit of unity and patriotism that he stood for.
In a poignant moment, a commemorative poster was launched, serving as a lasting symbol of respect to the leader and a reminder of the ideals he championed.
