Noida: "Science stands at its heart as a force for positive transformation and a development multiplier” Sushil Bharti Director ICMEI on the occasion of the World Science Day read a message from Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO for Peace and Development.

Every five years, it analyses emerging trends in science, technology and innovation policy and governance. The latest edition has been launched on World Science Day for Peace and Development, 10 November 2015. The key message of the Report can be summarized in just four words: more research - better development.

“The purpose of the World Science Day for Peace and Development is to renew the national, as well as the international commitment to science for peace and development and to stress the responsible use of science for the benefit of society. The World Science Day for Peace and Development also aims at raising public awareness of the importance of science and to bridge the gap between science and societies” said Sandeep Marwah World Peace Ambassador, President World Peace Development And Research Foundation, Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations at a conference at Noida Film City to celebrate World Science Day for Peace And Development.
