National Day of Sao Tome Principe Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: Sandeep Marwah renowned film and media personality and President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry congratulated the people of Sao Tome Principe on the National Day falls on 14th July.

“I on my behalf and on behalf of ICMEI & media and entertainment Industry of India extend great pleasure to convey to the people of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of National Day,” said Sandeep Marwah also titled as Global Cultural Minister.

A small Indian community lived in São Tomé and Príncipe while the country was a Portuguese colony. The community moved to other countries following the Indian annexation of Goa and fall of Portuguese India in 1961. Today, there are a few Indians working in the food sector in STP. Indian traders based in neighboring African nations often visit STP to conduct trade.

Soon ICMEI will open an Indo Sao Tome Principe Cultural Forum under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.
