Noida: A grand event was organized to celebrate the Saraswati Puja at AAFT School of Performing Arts and renowned Sitarist Prateek Chaudhuri was invited as the chief guest of the day.

“Prateek Chaudhuri, a brilliant performer, is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding Sitar players of the country today amongst the present generation. His Sitar sparkles with the rare combination of virtuosity with technical finesse and a deep sense of aesthetics introduced Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the large audience involved with the ceremony.

“Saraswati Puja is performed for devotion to the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The Goddess of learning is worshiped among the students and learned who firmly follow all the customs to worship her,” said Prateek Choudhary inaugurating the ceremony. “Thank you for taking me on the board, I would love to come back for taining students soon,” added Choudhuri.

Goddess Saraswati is worshipped to invoke the blessings of the deity, who is the Goddess of culture, music art and education. The significance of Saraswati Puja is that it is a spring festival and it marks the beginning of spring,” added Manoj Agarwal Director AAFT School of Performing Arts.
