| Special Segment for AAFT Short Films at the 17th Global Film Festival Noida |
Noida: The 17th Global Film Festival Noida 2024 is proud to showcase a special section dedicated to the short films produced by the students of AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television). With a record-breaking portfolio of 3,600 short films produced under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, AAFT holds the title of the largest producer of short films in the world, having provided opportunities to over 20,000 filmmakers from 145 countries.
The festival will feature a curated selection of films directed by talented individuals over the course of 2024. These films, representing diverse genres, themes, and creative visions, have been crafted by students from AAFT’s Short-Term, PGDM, Undergraduate, and Master’s programs.
“AAFT has always been committed to nurturing talent and offering a global platform for young filmmakers to express their creativity. These films are a testament to the hard work and passion of our students and faculty,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the 17th Global Film Festival.
Some of the best films will be screened during the three-day festival, with awards being presented to honor excellence in storytelling, direction, and innovation.
