| Dr. Sandeep Marwah Meets Union Minister Chirag Paswan |
New Delhi, India – Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, met with Union Minister of Food Processing, Chirag Paswan, to discuss the significant contributions of AAFT and Noida Film City to the media and entertainment industry.
During the meeting, Dr. Marwah, a nine-time World Record Holder, briefed the Minister on the rapid growth of Noida Film City, highlighting its status as the fastest-growing film city in the world. He shared key statistics, noting that the city houses 16 studios and broadcasts 350 channels to 162 countries, with over 17,000 media professionals working around the clock in three shifts of eight hours each. The cascading impact of this dynamic ecosystem supports the livelihoods of approximately 150,000 people.
Dr. Marwah further informed Minister Chirag Paswan about the exceptional educational impact of AAFT (Asian Academy of Film & Television). Over the past 32 years, AAFT has successfully trained more than 35,000 students from 145 countries, shaping the next generation of global media and entertainment professionals.
Minister Chirag Paswan appreciated the efforts of Dr. Marwah in fostering media education and industry growth, acknowledging the vital role Noida Film City plays in India’s entertainment landscape.
