Malaysian Delegation Visits Marwah Studios to Strengthen Indo-Malaysian Film and Cultural Ties

Noida: A distinguished Malaysian delegation led by noted businessman and philanthropist Anand Nagpal from Kuala Lumpur visited Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to promote the activities of the Indo-Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF).

Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, emphasized the importance of Indo-Malaysian collaboration in the fields of film, media, and culture. He recalled his memorable visit to Malaysia and the appreciation he received from H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. Dr. Marwah also highlighted AAFT’s strong connections with leading organizations, including the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) and the Asian Unity Alliance, both of which have been instrumental in fostering regional cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion, Anand Nagpal expressed his commitment to building stronger ties between India and Malaysia through film, culture, and business exchange. “India and Malaysia share deep cultural bonds, and platforms like the Indo-Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum provide a perfect opportunity to translate those bonds into meaningful collaborations,” he said.

The visit concluded with discussions on new opportunities for student exchanges, joint film productions, cultural festivals, and creative training programs, which will further strengthen the cultural diplomacy between the two nations.
