Sandeep Marwah Attends 3rd Energy Summit of IACC in New Delhi

New Delhi: The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) successfully organized the 3rd Energy Summit at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, bringing together distinguished leaders, policymakers, and experts from India and the United States to deliberate on energy security, sustainability, and bilateral cooperation.

Xiaobing Feng, Principal Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in India, reaffirmed the United States’ strong commitment to working with India across multiple sectors, with a particular emphasis on energy security. “The cooperation between Washington, D.C. and New Delhi continues to strengthen in the energy domain, ensuring a future of shared growth and sustainability,” he said.

Atul Chauhan, President of IACC North Council, spoke about the importance of fostering Indo-US collaborations in clean and renewable energy, underlining the role of the private sector in advancing innovation and sustainable solutions.

Sunil Jain, Summit Chairman, emphasized the urgency of addressing tariff challenges and creating an enabling environment for investments in energy infrastructure. He called for a proactive approach to policy frameworks that could accelerate the energy transition.

Addressing the media, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair for Media and Entertainment Committee at IACC, highlighted the role of communication in building awareness around energy conservation and sustainability. “Media has the power to shape public opinion and drive collective responsibility towards energy efficiency and renewable adoption. Spreading the message of sustainability is as crucial as creating new technologies,” said Dr. Marwah.

The summit concluded with a strong call for deeper Indo-US engagement to build a secure, sustainable, and collaborative energy future.
