ZEE Punjabi, which has been available free-to-air for the past few days has encrypted today. Behind the encryption window, the channel has started its new daily property - 'Akhiyan Ton Door Jayeen Na', a drama addressing many rampant social concerns including gender discrimination, family politics, the institution of marriage, plight of the poor along with others.
'Akhiyan Ton Door Jayeen Na' is directed by the eminent producer and director Gurbir Grewal, known for his feature films 'Mannat', ‘Coffee House’ and now Additional Director of World renowned Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida Film City.
On this occasion Ravi Arora, Business & Programming Head - ZEE ETC Punjabi says, "It was a much awaited move. This is nothing less than a breakthrough. “Akhiyan Ton Door Jayeen Na is scheduled for Monday to Friday at 20:00 on ZEE Punjabi” informed Sandeep Marwah the Co-Producer of the serial and President of Marwah Studios. Many trained Students of AAFT will also get an opportunity to be part of this program said Marwah.
