Asian Academy of Film And Television (AAFT) has planned a
school of Fashion to provide best education and training in the field of
fashion designing and fashion management. Undergraduate, post Graduate diploma
and short term courses are to be launched from this August from Marwah Studios.
Some of the prominent export houses have already given their
consent to be part of this setup including Rajan Sahni, Rajat Kumar, Nishith
Sadh, Vicky Sarna, Mici Sawney who will be placing students on internship and
ready to give employment to the product of Asian School of Fashion.
The School has many national and international people from
fashion fraternity including star Sonam Kapoor on the board. School alumni like
former Miss Universe Xim ena Navarrate,
Miss India Earth Hasleen Kaur, Mr Gladrax Arhan Chaudhary, Bollywood Dress
Designer Kunal Rawal are also part of the committee.
