New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah is the World Record Holder in
sports- His involvement with 10th Commonwealth Games Delhi was
tremendous. Not only he has provided media assistance to foreign journalists
during that time he has created a wonderful record for himself too.
“Marwah covered Queen’s Baton Relay from Wagha Border to
Nehru Stadium covering 28 states, 5 Union Territories, 20,000 Kilo Meters, 900
cities, 300 events and clicked 10,000 pictures, 1000 hours of film making, 102
Radio Programs and 102 short films in 102 days for world broadcast,” secretary
AISJA informed the house.
The award was handed over to Sandeep Marwah by the sports
legend Padma Shri and Arjun Awardee Mahabali Satpal Ji wrestler Gold Medalist in a grand function at Constitution Club, New
Delhi in the august audience of journalists from all over India.
Sandeep Marwah is chair for Indian Sports And Cultural
Society, Annual State level Event Ethleema supported by Asian Business School,
Asian Premier Leauge sports event supported by AAFT, Patron to Indian
Basketball Players Association, Patron to Delhi State Women’s Football
Association and many more National organizations.
