New Delhi: “What gunpowder did for war the printing press
has done for mind. Ink is the blood to Printing press. What is printed becomes
history,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the book release
function of The Faces a quarterly Magazine by Harsh Anand at Karnataka Sangha
Auditorium.
The program was dedicated to Open Defecation and Children
Health as explained by Sucheta Anand the coordinator of the program.
“Eliminating open defecation is the
main aim of improving access to sanitation worldwide and is a proposed
indicator for sustainable development goals. Even if toilets are available,
people still need to be convinced to refrain from open defecation and use
toilets. Therefore, the need for behavioural change is critical in addition to
the provision of toilets,” said Sandeep Marwah addressing to the large
gathering supporting the cause.
International Chamber of Media And
Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios supported the event. Sheerya Katyal
anchored the program. The formal program was followed by an entertainment
evening.
