A Musical Recital at Urdu Ghar |
New Delhi: A musical evening
by renowned Ghazal singer Sakheel Ahmed organized by Urdu Ghar and curated by
Dr. Mridula Tandon at New Delhi was a great success.
“Life is dull, boring and
would have been like a mistake without music. Music makes you spiritual, full
of zest and enthusiasm and works like a medicine to mental health,” said
Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios speaking to the music lovers in the
capacity of chief guest.
Urdu Ghar is one of the
oldest organizers in India created by Maulana Azad way back in 1903. A new
building was constructed at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg in Delhi in 1977.
Sandeep Marwah thanked
audience for their participation and said that we need to encourage artists to
keep our Indian music alive. Marwah also informed people that AAFT also has a
School of Performing Arts and giving training in music.
