Noida: A poster was released to mark the 143rd
Jyanti of Sardar Patel at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film
City with film and media students of the institution.
“I am feeling energetic when
I think of great leader like Sardar Patel. His contribution in building united
India is immense. I thoroughly believe in his ideology as I have spent 12 years
in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya- a school after the name of this leader,” said
Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
“We are strong as we have
Sardar Patel Forum within the house and its formation at AAFT has left impact
on the young minds too. WE are collecting and producing now films on Sardar
Patel, a large number of books also have been ordered as a part of library,”
added Marwah.
Vallabhbhai Patel popularly known as Sardar Patel,
was an Indian politician. He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister of
India. He was an Indian barrister and statesman, a senior leader of the Indian
National Congress and a founding father of the Republic of India who played a
leading role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its
integration into a united, independent nation.
