New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, on behalf of the media, entertainment, art, and culture fraternity of India, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Fathali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, and to the people of Iran on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Iran, celebrated on 11th February.
Dr. Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), conveyed his warm wishes and appreciated the long-standing cultural and historical ties between India and Iran. He emphasized that both nations share deep-rooted civilizational connections reflected in literature, art, cinema, and cultural traditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah said, “The Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum under the banner of ICMEI is doing exceptionally well and has been conducting a large number of meaningful events, screenings, seminars, and cultural interactions to bring the people of Iran and India closer together.”
He further added that cultural diplomacy plays a vital role in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual understanding between nations. ICMEI remains committed to fostering greater collaboration between the creative communities of India and Iran.
Dr. Marwah wished His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Fathali continued success in his diplomatic mission and conveyed his best wishes for peace, prosperity, and progress to the people of Iran on their National Day.
