Noida, March 2025: The AAFT Star Premier League 2025 concluded with a spectacular Closing and Award Function, celebrating the outstanding achievements of student athletes from 17 different colleges under the AAFT umbrella. The event, held at Marwah Studios, was graced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a World Record Holder in Sports and President of Marwah Studios, alongside distinguished guests from the sports fraternity.

The occasion was made even more special with the presence of: Sunia Godara, Asian Marathon Champion and popularly known as the “Marathon Queen.” Munna Khalid, International Gold Medalist and Olympic Para Shooter. Sanjeev Kapoor, Sports Enthusiast and Promoter, who played a pivotal role in encouraging young athletes. These esteemed personalities not only celebrated the victories of the young champions but also inspired them with their own stories of perseverance and triumph.

The league saw fierce yet friendly competition among students, with awards presented across eight different sports disciplines. A total of 168 awards were distributed in the following categories: Cricket, Badminton, Chess, Carrom Board, Race, Football, Table Tennis (Singles & Doubles) The winners showcased not only their athletic talent but also discipline, teamwork, and determination, proving the importance of sports in shaping character and leadership qualities.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah took the opportunity to share insights about his own World Record in Sports and his journey as a multi-faceted personality. “Sports is not just about winning medals; it’s about pushing your limits, learning from failures, and continuously striving for excellence. It builds confidence, resilience, and a spirit of teamwork that is invaluable in every profession. I congratulate all the winners and participants for their enthusiasm and dedication,” said Dr. Marwah.

Noida, March 2025: The much-awaited AAFT Star Sports League 2025 commenced with great enthusiasm at the Noida Stadium, marking yet another grand celebration of sportsmanship and talent. The prestigious event was inaugurated by former Indian National Cricket Team player Madan Lal alongside Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, in the presence of a large audience, students, faculty members, and esteemed guests.

The three-day sporting extravaganza witnessed an overwhelming participation from 500 athletes representing 17 colleges, with a vibrant crowd of 3,500 students cheering for their teams. A total of eight different sporting events were held, promoting healthy competition and camaraderie among aspiring sports personalities.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his delight at the incredible energy and enthusiasm displayed by the participants. “Sports instill discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities, which are crucial for success in every field of life. The AAFT Star Sports League has always been a platform to nurture young talents and encourage them to push their limits,” said Dr. Marwah.” We have always promoted love, peace and unity through sports,” Marwah added.

Madan Lal, known for his remarkable contributions to Indian cricket, shared his inspiring words with the participants. “It’s heartening to see such a grand sporting event organized at this scale. The opening ceremony was a spectacle to behold, starting with a march past of 17 colleges, followed by the handling of the sports torch by students, representing the spirit of unity and excellence. The National Anthem resonated through the stadium, filling the air with patriotism and pride. A mesmerizing performance by a team of cheerleaders further elevated the excitement before the games officially commenced.

The inaugural match of the tournament was a cricket game, with the legendary Madan Lal conducting the toss, signaling the beginning of a thrilling sports event. Dr. Marwah and Madan Lal took the time to personally meet and encourage all the participating teams, motivating them to give their best.
