Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum Highlights Lebanese Spirit at 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025

Noida, India – May 31, 2025 – The Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum, in proud association with the Embassy of Lebanon in India, brought the essence of Lebanon to center stage at the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week (GFDW) Noida 2025, held at the renowned Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Hailed as the world’s largest academic fashion week, GFDW 2025 welcomed a diverse international audience of designers, artists, and innovators. The event was organized under the dynamic leadership of the Fashion Committee of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), with strong support from the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and AAFT School of Interior Designing.

This landmark edition featured over 200 acclaimed designers, 550 original fashion pieces, and 125 artistic interior installations, along with 9 fashion shows, 90 runway rounds, 6 exhibitions, and 9 global culinary experiences. The celebration was broadcast live via MSTV, Radio Noida, and received extensive coverage from over 600 international media platforms.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum, shared his thoughts:“India and Lebanon share a rich cultural legacy rooted in art, tradition, and innovation. Through platforms like GFDW, we reaffirm our commitment to cultural unity and creative exchange that transcends borders.”

As a longstanding and active participant, the Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum once again captivated audiences with its striking fashion showcase titled “Free Soul.” The collection celebrated liberation, transformation, and individuality, blending structured tailoring with fluid drapes, symbolizing the evolving journey of identity. Using traditional Indian textiles, the garments were reimagined with vivid colors and exquisite craftsmanship, evoking both heritage and fearless expression.

The showcase was further enriched by a Lebanon-inspired furniture piece—a harmonious blend of Mediterranean aesthetics and modern form. It reflected Lebanon’s architectural charm, cultural depth, and contemporary design ethos.

By bringing Lebanese culture into the spotlight, the Indo-Lebanon Film and Cultural Forum continues to bridge nations through fashion, design, and storytelling, fostering global harmony and artistic excellence.
