| Dr. Sandeep Marwah Meets Governor of New Jersey Phil Murphy in New Delhi |
New Delhi, September 2025 — During the visit of H.E. Phil Murphy, Governor of the State of New Jersey, USA, and First Lady Tammy Murphy to India, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and Chair for the Indo–American Film and Cultural Forum, had an exclusive meeting with the Governor at Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi.
In a cordial and forward-looking discussion, Dr. Marwah proposed enhanced collaboration between Indian and American media organizations as well as academic institutions, emphasizing the vast opportunities for exchange programs, joint productions, and cultural partnerships. He underlined the importance of fostering creative cooperation between the two nations through film, art, and media education.
Governor Phil Murphy appreciated Dr. Marwah’s vision for cultural diplomacy and educational innovation. He expressed keen interest in building partnerships between New Jersey’s leading universities and media houses with AAFT and ICMEI institutions in India.
