| Dr. Sandeep Marwah Honoured for Promoting Hindi Worldwide-Speaks on Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Ideology at Vigyan Bhawan |
New Delhi, India: Renowned media leader and cultural ambassador Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, was honoured at a grand ceremony organized by the Vishwa Hindi Parishad at Vigyan Bhawan for his outstanding contributions to the global promotion of the Hindi language.
Dr. Marwah was invited as a distinguished speaker to address the gathering on the ideology and philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. In his address, he highlighted the cultural strength and universal appeal of Hindi, emphasizing its role in connecting communities across borders.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said: “Promoting Hindi has been an integral part of my mission. Through our media platforms, academic initiatives, and international collaborations, we strive to take the essence of Hindi to audiences around the world.”
He elaborated on several pioneering initiatives through which Hindi is being promoted globally:
- Radio Noida, Radio Raipur, and Radio Mumbai—all Hindi-speaking platforms of Marwah Studios—broadcast content across the world.
- MSTV, the OTT channel of Marwah Studios, delivers nearly 80 percent of its programming in Hindi, making it accessible to a vast global audience.
- AAFT University of Media and Arts consistently integrates and encourages Hindi language usage across its curriculum and student activities.
- The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), through its 196 international committees, actively propagates Hindi and Indian culture in numerous countries.
- Dr. Marwah also chairs the Rashtriya Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti, one of the foremost platforms dedicated to honouring and promoting Hindi cinema.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of prominent scholars, cultural personalities, and supporters of the Hindi movement, all applauding Dr. Marwah’s multi-dimensional efforts. The recognition further strengthens Dr. Marwah’s legacy as a key global advocate for Hindi, reaffirming his commitment to cultural diplomacy and linguistic pride.
