The films titled “Talented Children” and “Hearing With All His Heart” were well received by the audience for their inspiring themes and sensitive portrayal of human values and talent.

Russian Documentaries Honoured with Award of Distinction at 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026

Noida: Two remarkable Russian documentary films were showcased and honoured with the prestigious Award of Distinction during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026.

The films included “St. Petersburg – Life in the City” directed by Ashot Dzhazoyan, and “Rostislav Zhuravlev – Russian War Correspondent” directed and produced by Inna Tanashova. Both documentaries received great appreciation from the audience for their powerful storytelling and strong journalistic content.

The screening of the films was formally inaugurated by Ms. Vera Gerasimova from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in New Delhi. Addressing the gathering, she emphasized the importance of cultural exchange between India and Russia and appreciated the platform provided by the festival to promote meaningful cinema.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Russian Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his gratitude to the Russian filmmakers and the Embassy of Russia for their continued support in strengthening Indo-Russian cultural relations. He highlighted that such collaborations enhance mutual understanding and reinforce the long-standing friendship between the two nations.

Noida, India: The compelling documentary “Closed Circuit”, directed by Tal Inbar from Israel, was screened as part of the prestigious 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The film added an important international perspective to the vibrant global lineup of documentaries featured during the festival.

The screening was inaugurated by Avital Barak, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Israel in India, in the presence of media professionals, diplomats, and students of journalism and cinema.

The screening was inaugurated by His Excellency Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India, in the distinguished presence of media professionals, diplomats, filmmakers, and journalism students from across the country.
