New Delhi, India: An extraordinary celebration of music, culture, and international camaraderie was witnessed at the One Love Festival organised at the iconic Union Jack Club, hosted within the premises of the British High Commission at Moghal Green.
The festival brought together an eclectic mix of diplomats, artists, and cultural enthusiasts, creating a truly vibrant and inclusive atmosphere reminiscent of the globally celebrated Notting Hill Carnival.
Renowned media personality and cultural ambassador Sandeep Marwah graced the occasion, adding prestige to the event. The afternoon transformed into an electrifying musical extravaganza featuring live Reggae & Roots music, complemented by curated British and West Indies cuisine, offering guests a rich cross-cultural experience.
The highlight of the evening was the sensational performance by BLACKGANG MUSIC, widely recognized as Delhi’s leading Reggae band. The 16-piece ensemble of global musicians delivered a high-energy, power-packed show filled with infectious rhythms and vibrant beats that kept the audience enthralled.
Adding further excitement, DJ Stain spun an engaging mix of Reggae, Roots, and Ska Riddims, while the dynamic Lady Lolita – the Dancehall Queen captivated the audience not only with her performance but also by teaching essential Dancehall moves, turning the event into an interactive celebration.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair for the Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum and Indo Wales Creative Forum, and Patron of the British Business Group, emphasized the importance of such cultural initiatives in strengthening global harmony.
