“The Promise” Honoured at Hollywood ShortsFest – Awards Presented to Cast & Crew

Noida: In a proud and celebratory moment for Indian cinema, the short film “The Promise”, produced by Marwah Films & Video Productions, has received an “Honorable Mention” at the prestigious Hollywood ShortsFest International Film Festival held in March 2026.

To commemorate this remarkable achievement, a special ceremony was organised at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, where awards and certificates were presented to the cast and crew of the film in recognition of their outstanding contribution and creative excellence.

Marwah Films And Video Production Announces Web Series



Web Series Launched at Marwah Films And Video Productions


Noida: Marwah Films And Video Production announced a web series to be launched at the beginning of May this year where the alumni of AAFT will participate in both on screen and in production too.

“We have designed a web series keeping in mind the in house talent of AAFT and ASMS on screen and for the production team too. The details are being worked out and all these productions will be made in Noida,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Asian Education Group.

Speaking on the occasion alumnus Amit Agarwal offered opportunity to the current students to join him after the course for his web series, which he has started, and projecting the same in Cannes International Film Festival. He was accompanied with his cast Aarti Rawat, Shipra Kasana and another alumnus of ASMS Harshvardhan Saran.

“We have already prepared the first show, and I shall be taking care of the project which will start its audition from April end,” added Ashok Tyagi director of the series.

Visual Media Is The Most Effective Medium-Surya Shukla



“The visual medium is the most effective medium of mass communication because you hear, you see and your emotions get attached to it, the effect is bound to come when you see a film” said Surya Kumar Shukla the Additional Director General Police Traffic on the release of a promotional film on traffic produced by Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

“We have production department and would like to make more films like this so that the traffic of the state can be improved, I am sure this film will play a vital role in short period of time” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios welcoming the film makers and guest from police department.

“We will distribute this film to all our department, cinema halls of UP, the traffic rule braker s, schools and colleges so that maximum awareness can be created about traffic rules” Surya K Shukla added. Explaining about the film Sushil Bharti the director of the film and HOD Television Asian School of Media Studies congratulated all the 25 participants and media students for their efforts who were given a certificate as token of appreciation.

It is hard to know that 14400 people died in UP last year because of road accident and around 20000 got injured on the road. City like Noida have only 125 traffic police which is not even quarter of the actual present requirement informed Surya K Shukla. Later Sandeep Marwah presented a membership of International Film And Television Club to Surya Kumar Shukla and Avdesh Singh Vijeta SP Traffic Noida present on the occasion. The event was well attended by large number of Film, TV and media persons.
