Global Excellence Awards in Journalism Presented at the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025

 Noida: The 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 hosted a grand award ceremony to honor outstanding professionals in the field of journalism with the Global Excellence Awards. The prestigious event celebrated exemplary contributions made by journalists who have demonstrated commitment and excellence in media reporting.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the festival and Marwah Studios, expressed his admiration for the awardees, highlighting their role in shaping responsible journalism and upholding media ethics. He emphasized the importance of dedicated journalists in fostering informed societies and promoting truthful reporting.

The awards were conferred upon some of the most distinguished media personalities, including: Anil Pandey, Senior Journalist, Director, India For Children, Vikrant Yadav, Deputy Editor, News18 India, Deepak Singh, Deputy Output Head, ABP News, Saroj Singh, Input Editor, BBC, Akhilesh Anand, Senior Anchor, ABP News, Meenakshi Joshi, Senior Editor, India TV, and Surabhi Sharma, Executive Producer & Anchor, TV9 Bharatvarsh who all shared their vast experience in journalism. A special memento was presented to Manish Mishra Superintendent Police of  the District  of Noida.

The Chief Guest, Lord Rami Ranger, Member of the British Parliament, House of Lords, graced the occasion and commended the awardees for their dedication to truth, journalistic integrity, and commitment to public awareness. He emphasized the role of media professionals in influencing societies, shaping narratives, and driving positive change globally. Later Dr Marwah presented the life membership of International Journalism Centre to Lord Rami Ranger.

ICMEI & Embassy of Israel Present Award-Winning Film “Dead Sea Guardians” at Indo Israel Film and Cultural Forum

Noida, India – February 2025: The Indo Israel Film and Cultural Forum, in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel, proudly presented the screening of the acclaimed Israeli documentary Dead Sea Guardians, directed by Ido Glass & Yoav Kleinman during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism and AVGC Noida 2025. The event, held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, was inaugurated by Avital Barak, Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Israel.

During the ceremony, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI, highlighted the Indo Israel Cultural Forum’s role in fostering artistic collaboration and strengthening bilateral ties through cinema and culture.

Avital Barak, while addressing the gathering, shared insights on the significance of the film and its environmental message, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges in bridging global communities.

As a mark of appreciation, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented a Festival Memento and the Award of Distinction to Avital Barak on behalf of the Embassy of Israel, acknowledging the outstanding contribution of Dead Sea Guardians to global cinema and environmental awareness.

Noida, India: The Department of Fine Arts, AAFT, proudly launched the Brochure of Paintings and Calendar 2025 at the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025. Noida, India – The 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 commenced with grandeur at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida, organized by the International Journalism Centre (IJC), Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI).

This pioneering festival, the first of its kind in the world, has become a landmark event in the media industry, uniting journalists, filmmakers, media professionals, and students from India and abroad. Designed to honor and celebrate journalism, the festival truly embodies the spirit of being “of the journalist, by the journalists, for the journalists.”

With a record-breaking 33 media and AVGC-related events, the festival serves as a vibrant platform for discussions on press freedom, ethical journalism, technological advancements in media, and the growing AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) sector.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President, President of ICMEI, and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, initiated and expressed his vision, stating: “Journalism is the pillar of democracy, and through this festival, we aim to spread the message of love, peace, and unity.
