Noida, India: The First AAFT Online Alumni Meet marked a significant milestone in strengthening global connections as alumni from across the world came together virtually for an inspiring and memorable gathering.

Organized by Asian Academy of Film and Television, the online meet beautifully blended nostalgia with forward-looking inspiration. Noida: In a landmark board meeting held at Marwah Studios, the AAFT Alumni Association convened an influential gathering of deans, directors from all AAFT schools, and distinguished alumni. Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, the assembly set out to formulate innovative systems, plan an elaborate annual day celebration, and establish a new executive body aimed at enhancing the vibrancy of the association.


The meeting was marked by an array of forward-thinking discussions. With a membership footprint spanning 145 countries, the AAFT Alumni Association continues to evolve as a dynamic global network. Key Discussions and Strategic Initiatives included: Revised Systems and Frameworks: Delegates proposed modernizing internal processes to ensure a more responsive and effective alumni network. Annual Day Celebration: Plans are underway to organize a vibrant and inclusive annual celebration, featuring cultural programs, interactive sessions, and awards, aimed at strengthening community bonds among alumni. Formation of a New Executive Body: A new leadership team will be instituted to steer the association’s activities, with a strong emphasis on transparency, innovation, and global outreach.

Two Day UDBHAV Training Program Conducted by AAFT Alumni

Noida:” It is very important to be in touch with the former students of AAFT, they have created a wonderful niece for themselves in the industry. We are confident that education and training at AAFT is most suitable to the industry needs. It is the time for them to give it back to the young aspirants here at AAFT,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University on the completion of two-day education and Training program by former students organised by AAA- AAFT Alumni Association at Marwah Studios.

The education and training program under the title UDBHAV was divided into four sessions in two days to coverup the large number of current students informed Yogesh K Mishra dean AAFT.  The former students spoke about their experiences at AAFT and right into the industry. They also discussed their struggle period, first job, industry norms, unwritten laws of industry, workloads, and the respect & pleasure they have been enjoying now at every stage added Akaknsha Singh President of AAFT Alumni Association.

The former students of AAFT-Asian Academy of Film & Television and Asian School of Media Studies were present there for the workshop including Shivang Mathur, Kanchan Arora, Arti Agravat, Priyadarshini Sharma, Aasim Qamar, Saurab Shreyans, Abha Maryada, Vineet Kumar, Jay Rajesh Arya, Augustus Light Writer, Anjali Rana, Yash Gupta, Akshay Suri, Nadiya Jindal, and Veshesh Percussionist and Harpreet Singh who all share their own real stories of life.

New Governing Council of Asian Alumni Association Nominated

Noida: The new Governing council of AAFT Education Group comprising of short- and long-term courses in different creative fields was reconstituted under the Patronship of renowned media person and president of Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“It was long due; we were just waiting for pandemic to get over so that new committee of alumni can be reconstructed to felicitate 15000 students who all have passed from different streams of creative arts in last 28 years of education. It is one of the most interesting job to interact with your alumni,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah congratulating the newly appointed board.

“We are ready to take the organisation to new level. The new energy, after so many months of pandemic break, will be utilised for supporting the alumni of all the schools under AAFT. I am sure my new team will bring some powerful results in short period of time,” said Akanksha Singh the new President of the organisation.

“We are here to guide the students. Such organizations are strength building exercises. They double the confidence in the current and passed out students,” added Yogesh Mishra the faculty in charge of AAA-Asian Alumni Association.

Members of the Governing Council of Asian Alumni Association includes  Akanksha Singh as President,  Siddharth Tiwary as Vice President,  Raghav Kashyap as General Secretary, the three Joint secretaries are Himanshu Mehta, Yatendra Kumar and Naman Mehra. Whereas  Rohit Maheswari is nominated as Treasurer. Ayush Shukla, Priyadarshini Singh, Anas Rafique, Dhruv Bhardwaj, Shubham Das, Manit Mani, Jeetesh and Prabhat Shukla are the members of executive council.
