| H.E. Isse Abdillahi Assoweh Conferred Patronship of Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum |
New Delhi: H.E. Isse Abdillahi Assoweh, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to India, has been presented with the Patronship of the Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI).
The honour recognizes His Excellency’s valuable support and commitment towards strengthening cultural, educational, artistic, and cinematic relations between India and Djibouti. The Forum aims to create greater opportunities for cooperation in films, media, education, art, culture, and creative industries between the two nations.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, ICMEI, said, “It is a matter of great honour to present the Patronship of the Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum to H.E. Isse Abdillahi Assoweh. His Excellency’s vision and support will give a new impetus to people-to-people relations between India and Djibouti. Cinema and culture are powerful instruments of international understanding, and we are confident that this Forum will open new avenues of collaboration between the two countries.”
H.E. Isse Abdillahi Assoweh, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to India, expressed his appreciation for the honour and said, “I am deeply honoured to receive the Patronship of the Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum. Culture, cinema, education, and the arts provide a strong foundation for bringing nations and people closer. Djibouti greatly values its friendly relations with India, and I look forward to supporting initiatives that further strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between our two countries.”
The presentation of the Patronship marks another significant step towards expanding India–Djibouti cooperation in the fields of film, media, education, art, and culture, while promoting greater interaction between creative professionals, institutions, and communities of both nations.
International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) continues to use media, cinema, art, culture, and education as instruments of international friendship, peace, and global cooperation.
