| Dr Sandeep Marwah Congratulates Indonesia on Independence Day |
New Delhi: Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo Indonesia Film and Cultural Forum, extended his warm greetings and congratulations to Yudho Sasongko, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia, and the people of Indonesia on the occasion of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Hari Kemerdekaan, celebrated on 17 August.
“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the Indo Indonesia Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Yudho Sasongko, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia, and the people of Indonesia on this proud and historic occasion. May Indonesia continue to progress, prosper and achieve greater heights of peace, unity and development,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah.
Dr Marwah emphasised the deep and friendly relations between India and Indonesia, particularly in the fields of art, culture, cinema, education and creative industries. He said that cultural diplomacy and people-to-people contact can play a significant role in further strengthening the longstanding bonds between the two nations.
“The Indo Indonesia Film and Cultural Forum is committed to promoting greater interaction between the creative communities of India and Indonesia. Cinema, television, art, culture and education provide powerful platforms to bring our people closer and create a deeper understanding between the two countries,” Dr Marwah added.
He also expressed confidence that the cooperation between India and Indonesia in the media and entertainment sector would continue to expand, opening new avenues for filmmakers, artists, educators, students and cultural organisations.
Dr Sandeep Marwah conveyed his best wishes for the continued peace, prosperity and progress of Indonesia and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening India-Indonesia relations through art, culture and creative diplomacy.
